Name: Reality Quake [Kinjutsu]

Rank: S

Jutsu Type: S/T ninjutsu

Range: Very Large (see below)

Requirements: Reality Cutter

Description: Using the same concept as Reality Cutter, the user creates the same destructive effect on a much larger scale easily able to cover a hidden village on its own. It requires a charge up time of at least one post to attain this, but taking longer is beneficial (see drawbacks). Once the user has performed the appropriate charging up the phenomenon spreads from the user at its epicenter drawing all matter into itself due to the vacuum it creates. The user is held suspended by the technique during this phase. Once at maximum range it recedes back to the user before fading away. Used defensively it will deal with incoming attacks as effectively and in the same fashion as the base jutsu.

Limitations: Due to its larger scale the jutsu is more susceptible to conventional defenses than its predecessor. The spacing between the ripples is increased and the potency of each one is decreased to compensate for the sheer scale, however it is easily on par if not stronger than similar village busters. This limitation is simply a fundamental attribute of the jutsu and cannot be removed.

Drawbacks: Use of this technique puts a terrible strain on the users body. The charge up time of 1 post is the bare minimum and used this way the user will be unable to utilize any Space-Time ninjutsu for 5 posts. Further charge up can alleviate some of the stress, with 2 posts of charge up reducing this to 3 posts and 3 posts of charge up reducing it to no S/T the following post. As with the predecessor this drawback can be reduced in stages with each stage of mastery reducing the severity by 1 stage. Full mastery would therefore allow the effect of 3 posts of charging with only 1 post done, however it should be noted that no matter how much mastery is attained there must always be 1 full post of charge up done.

To what extent?

If this is lowered, it's worse for the defender, not better. Lowering the space between ripples means there is less of a chance of dodging.

In what way is this lowered? How does one decrease the potency of being split into several hundred pieces across space?

Blue is followed up on in the following sentences. Red was an error, that's fixed. Green, no clue. The end goal is making it not be an automatic one shot of anything ever made so there is some counterplay. Any ideas on making it make sense?

Perhaps waves of erasure? Like...if you can picture crescent blades of spacetime emanating randomly from the user, warping away whatever they come into contact with?
