It would be a long walk from the tent as the Uchiha boy thought over his actions in the tent. He was happy he fed his curiosity, but he wasn't happy with the crew. He couldn't decide if their cooperation with him was genuine, or even their fear of him.Well now they know... He laughed a bit as he thought about his use of 'Killing Intent' on the cast. He also for a brief moment thought about his family, the courtesy he had learned as a kid, and how courteous he was to be with others.

Once he was around the front of the stage he would look out for Keiko. He had no clue what she had gotten up to since he departed. Truth be told, he was a bit disappointed that she didn't follow him to the tent. However seeing as what happened in the tent wasn't great, it was probably best. He sighted Keiko seemingly mulling over something and would make his way to her at once. Of course he wouldn't move too fast so as not to disturb her thought process, but he wouldn't take forever to arrive.

He picked up a chair on his way and once he was by her side he would gently nudge into her side with his elbow "What's up? The cast in the tent had nothing."

The faint footsteps approaching her were noticed but Keiko paid no heed to them. It could have been one of the actors or actresses or possibly Ninigi, but there wasn't a threat to her as of now. It was only after she got elbowed that she opened her eyes quickly and stared at Ninigi.

"Just thinking about the whole situation in particular."

She recounted what she thought about the crime syndicate and who exactly hired them, whether it was from one of the members of the cast or if it was truly because of the bad guys themselves. She didn't leave out the possibility that it could be personal and continued with speaking with Ninigi.

"How did you want to proceed with this security detail? I was thinking that we would need to have one of us close to the stage itself so we can react to it as well as someone near the back of the audience to have an overall view of everything. What I can do is create several clones that can fill all those positions for us. The maximum I could create is around six clones. They are all smart and can think for themselves so there wouldn't be a problem with communication or reaction time. What do you think?"

Thirty Minutes Left Until The Play Starts

The first person came waiting in line about forty minutes prior and have been standing outside near the back of the audience section. The line would extend out and circle around the perimeter of the encampment. There was really only one official entranceway, which was located in the back opposite of the stage and tent but near the tent was a smaller simple doorway that was manned by one of the staff members.

Slowly but surely, the customers would begin to line up behind the first and chattered amongst themselves about how they expected the 'Play of Death' to play out. Although it was just a mid-tier show, the acting troupe were well known throughout Akarigakure so people from all over the village came to attend the show.

What will the pair do now to prepare for their big gig?

The taller Kaguya girl would be the first to bring operational plans to the fore. Ninigi nodded his head subtly as she talked, his facial expression suggesting he was at least a little bit impressed. She would have a lot to say and he would listen, still nodding his head, still attentive to her words. It appeared that while he was doing the "good cop/bad cop" job all by himself, she was applying her intellect to their cause. He was delighted. The mention of clones was a smart one too, but of course it was something she could do, not him.

"You're thinking, I like it."

"Since you're so tough I think you should stay closest to the stage. Or rather, because I'm not tough, and all I have is a set of watchful eyes, I'll stay far enough and just observe. We would however require some form of communication."

"And when you want to create the clones, please show me, I'd like to see how it's done."

There wouldn't be much else to say but time would surely breeze past them in their idleness. Not long now and it would be thirty minutes to the start of the show. Ninigi was only a slight bit nervous, he hadn't been a bodyguard at a show before, but he was ready for whatever it would turn out to be.

She was astonished. The sly insults that were coming out of this naive boy's mouth were starting to boil up in her mind. Keiko would most definitely not forget these little things that Ninigi has said. Once past the boiling point, the pot will overflow and everything the Uchiha did and will do until that point will spill out of her in a raging inferno that will melt the skin and bones off of the boy's head until his brain was exposed. Only then would she relentlessly and brutally punch the living shit out of it until it turned into paste.

...

But for now, the Kaguya kept it all inside her, neatly arranged in a small box called Ninigi. Pandora's- no, Ninigi's box will open sooner or later.

I Promise. *wink*

"What do you mean I'm thinking?! Is that supposed to be an insult?"

She would leave it at that and continue to listen to what the foul boy had to say. Green eyes glanced over to the front of the stage and to the back where the entrance was. Communicating would be a bit difficult. In that case..

Keiko turned to Ninigi and motioned that she was about to perform the Clone Technique. This was a tad bit different from how normal solid clones were. She trained extensively for this particular jutsu; so much so that she was able to have them think for themselves. Silver hair flowed around her shoulders as she began forming the seal for Hi Bunshin no Jutsu. The girl made sure to use the original amount of chakra for molding her technique and out came Keiku, the stoic one. For all intents and purposes, the clone looked exactly like Keiko except for one minor detail: on her left arm was an auburn-colored armband that had Keiku's name on it.

Fifteen minutes left until the play starts.

More people were starting to line up, and some even were trying to jump up and down to peek inside the tall wall that encircled the play area. There was still a little bit of time left before the customers were allowed into the place and get themselves nice and comfy in their chairs. Before that time begins, both Keiko and Ninigi should have made a solid plan on how to deal with the situation.

What will they do? How will they do it? Five minutes left until people are let in and ten minutes left after that until the play starts.

It wasn't very apparent to Ninigi at first, but he would quickly become aware of Keiko's bad mood. He had just lauded her thought process and initiative. The first facial expression he would pick up was one of surprise, and frankly, it surprised the genin himself. Was there something he had said by accident? Or perhaps he had struck a cord that resonated with a foul memory?

Once she vocally expressed her discontent, Ninigi would facially respond with a perplexed look. He would let a few brief seconds go past as he gave her some time to anticipate his next words. "What?" It was just one word. Ninigi would hurl a response that denied her accusation its very existence. He would however reflect internally and realize that it was probably best to not aggravate her by challenging her sanity at this point.

Once she was ready to perform the clone technique, Ninigi would be signalled to and he would pay attention. He would turn on his sharingan and would observe her hand seals flawlessly. Once the clones appeared his eyes would light up.Neat

----

It wouldn't be too long now and the entertainment lusting citizenry had started making their presence known. Ninigi looked in Keiko's direction and shrugged. "I think I'll actually take a seat front row. Where exactly do you want to have your clones stationed, I will try to complement that"

That was his reply? Of all the things to say, he's going to feign ignorance and pretend he doesn't know anything? She would mutter a single word to herself with her lips barely moving whilst turning away.

"Aigoo."

There wasn't a whole lot of handseals to be made for her Fire Clone technique. Rather, it was only a single handseal. Compared to the Academy Student basic Clone Technique which had three handsigns, the elemental clone variant only had one. What made up for the lack of handseals was the molding of the chakra inside the body. When Keiku appeared, It held about 20% of the Kaguya's total chakra. Out of all of her personalized clones, Keiku was her 'strongest' one. She definitely deserved a larger chakra pool.

"If you're sitting in the front, I'll be in the back."

Communication between the two would have to come to a standstill for now even at the cost of a failed mission. But Keiko was more professional than that. She has learned several techniques that she could use for situations like this. In fact, she had already come up with a game plan.

"I'll set up my clones all around the perimeter as well as two in the seats as well."

She pointed to all the spots where her clones would be, which included the back of the stage, one on each side of the audience, and the two aforementioned clones in the seats for a total of five clones. They would in total grab 60% of her chakra while leaving roughly 40% for the original to use.

"And don't bother making clones for yourself, regular clones are a bit dumb by themselves. Mines can think for themselves rather well and can perform jutsu too. Don't worry about it. Just focus on what you can do best."

With that said, Keiko performed the Hi Bunshin no Jutsu once more, creating four more clones that all looked similar to her. She told them all to transform and in their place stood completely random people who either looked like a regular villager or a worker of Masaki the director. The only person that looked like Keiko was Keiko herself. Each one was still branded with the armband but it no longer had their name written upon it.

The customers began filing in one by one, each one either taking their seats or at the concession stand to purchase some snacks or drinks to keep themselves busy during the play. It was ten minutes before the play starts. All the two genin needed to do was take down the attackers that would try to assassinate Masaki. How they do it is up to the discretion of the ninja, but it shouldn't severely impact the play or its ending.

Well, as long as they fulfill the objectives of the mission, it shouldn't be too difficult. The actors and actresses inside the tent were making last-minute preparations but they were all in their costumes and wearing all their props that they needed to carry. They would appear from the entrance and walk over to the side of the stage covered partly from the audience. This was the place where they could enter and exit the stage, similar to the 'stage left' and 'stage right' one would hear in normal plays.

Lots of conversations would be heard either talking about this or that. Some were even talking about rumors involving Masaki and his death threat. Oh, how word spreads soo easily. Last minute preparations for the two genin would be in order until the play starts.

People betrayed people's trust very often. Oh well it was going to be another day of not being honest for Ninigi, after all his partner undoubtedly did the same to him at some point. He would ask for the convenience before the show started and would do well to get out of sight of anyone before he performed he Fire clone technique. Neat He had created two clones and would have one of them transform into the obnoxious teenager that was Lapis Uchiha. Donned in a dark blue robe and with busy white hair, the first clone would be ready. The second clone would remain a perfect copy of Ninigi.

He briefed them about his plans for them and they would leave to get themselves seats. Once out in public the Ninigi clone would appear to be talking or scolding the Lapis clone, the latter would in classic fashion not seem bothered by the slating. The Lapis would seat front row at the center, while the Ninigi look alike would sit at the edge of the front row, in an angle to give a great view of what was going on around the stage and to allow him scan the almost whole audience with just a turn of the neck.

Meanwhile Ninigi would transform into Sakura Dezaki, but not without a face-cap and a hoodie. He would use this to pretend to be anonymous, but whoever really knew Sakura would probably pick him out. If it was possible to be out of sight and out of the convenience, he would do this, but he would not move to find a seat till the show had started proper.

Keiko would stand by near the entrance taking a good look at everyone who came into their play. None of them looked out of the ordinary and she didn't expect them to: why would you paint yourself as a target? One would do well to be hidden.

During this time period, Ninigi had disappeared behind something and went out of view. She wouldn't realize that he had created clones for himself as well and would only notice the appearance of himself with Lapis in the distance after the play was about to start. She didn't pay any attention to him talking with someone else but there was another sight that caught her gaze. The Kaguya recognized this particular hooded ninja she knew and loved. The girl looked down and thought back on bittersweet memories of their experiences together.

Her clones were busy doing human-like things and didn't bring any unnecessary attention to themselves. It was only then that she realized what happened. She did not spot Sakura or Ninigi's brother entering through the entrance. She was right there the entire time watching each and every person walk in. That could only mean one thing based on what she knew. The Uchiha made clones of his own. It was surprising that he made regular clones that were incapable of thinking for themselves. Perhaps he knew how to make solid clones as well? Keiko did not realize that one was able to copy other jutsu from other people only after seeing the technique being used once. What an awesome ability to have.

Soon, the play was going to start. The Kaguya smiled while looking down towards her feet. It's showtime~

Okay. Three, two, one, action!

The play was now in play. The actors and actresses alongside Masaki were all ready to perform their duties to please the audience. The lead actor as well as one of the actresses were visibly sweating at any rate, possibly because of the Uchiha's threat. The director was sitting down in the front seat in the middle of the audience, keen on making this play a success. Today was the day one of his actors would die, and it was up to the two genin to stop it.

Now to anyone curious, the play in question was very similar to Hamlet by William Shakespeare, although no one here in Seichi knew about either names.

[I'll basically go through the condensed version as I don't want this taking too long. Not to worry] %)

CODE
Masaki - Prince Kouten
Random Actor #1 - Uncle Nomura, the Dead King's Brother
Random Actress #1 - Sawae, Wife to Dead King and Prince Kouten's Mother

QUOTE
Prince Kouten is depressed. Having been summoned home to the Frost Country from his school in Konoki to attend his father's funeral, he is shocked to find his mother Sawae already remarried. The Queen has wed Kouten's uncle Nomura, the dead king's brother. To Kouten, the marriage is "foul incest." Worse still, Nomura has had himself crowned King despite the fact that Kouten was his father's heir to the throne. Kouten suspects foul play.

Ninigi had never been one for plays, and certainly not classical ones. He knew very little about theatre arts and the literature that dominated that sphere. As a result, while his clones would watch based on their responsibility, they could not anticipate any of the drama and would probably find it all boring. It was worse for Ninigi himself as he merely watched the stage for human tell-tales that betrayed deeper meaning. He would alternate between that and scrutinizing the crowd without looking obvious, only turning back every now and then in a non disruptive way, pretending to search for someone.

Where he positioned himself allowed him to gaze at the majority of the crowd without turning his neck fully and this made his life easy at the moment. His mind would race every now and then even when he focused on the stage and he barely could follow the plot. He would pretend to find funny whatever people laughed about as long as he saw something he could laugh about on stage; whether it was a stupid looking person or a puzzled expression.

This is the worst shit ever.

Second turned into minutes, and minutes turned into hours. Just kidding. While the play did feel like it was going on for an inordinate amount of time, only fifteen minutes have passed by in silence. Keiko was beginning to feel drowsy. This really was the worst shit she ever watched. Compared to the more anime-like action and fantasy like ninjas of our world, something like Hamlet that seemed out of this world and dull only exacerbated her own out of body experience.

It seemed like the audience liked it though.. for some odd reason. Still, a mission was a mission; the Kaguya still had to pay attention to every minor detail and every person's actions in this arena. Because of Ninigi and Keiko's clones keeping watch, there would most likely be no problem in spotting the culprit that intended on killing whoever that person's name was. (It's been soo long that I forgot EVERY SINGLE NAME!)

The Kaguya glanced back at Ninigi's Sakura, their friend who went to stardom and became an idol.

Those were good days.

CODE
Random Actor Twin #3 - King Kouichi
Random Actor Twin #4 - The Ghost , King Kouichi's soul

QUOTE
When his father's ghost visits the castle, Kouten's suspicions are confirmed. The Ghost complains that he is unable to rest in peace because he was murdered. Nomura, says the Ghost, poured poison in the King's ear while he napped. Unable to confess and find salvation, King Kouichi is now consigned, for a time, to spend his days in Purgatory and walk the earth by night. He entreats Kouten to avenge his death, but to spare Sawae, to let Heaven decide her fate.

Kouten vows to affect madness — puts "an antic disposition on" — to wear a mask that will enable him to observe the interactions in the castle, but finds himself more confused than ever. In his persistent confusion, he questions the Ghost's trustworthiness. What if the Ghost is not a true spirit, but rather an agent of the Akuma sent to tempt him? What if killing Nomura results in Kouten's having to relive his memories for all eternity? Kouten agonizes over what he perceives as his cowardice because he cannot stop himself from thinking. Words immobilize Kouten, but the world he lives in prizes action.

Soo blah blah, fifteen minutes pass, soon it becomes thirty minutes, and nothing strange happens. However, the people get more engrossed in the play as it continues. It's almost like they are sitting on the edge of their seats trying to know what will happen next. The only ones that didn't show much appreciation for the play were Ninigi, Keiko, their clones, as well as a person in the very back of the audience, silently staring at the stage with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

All spectating arms of the Ninigi formation were doing their bit. They were all suffering from the emotional abuse of the drama but they still managed to survey the area. For now it seemed there was no harm and the secret security personnel from Akari were on top of things. Ninigi yawned every now and then but never felt sleepy. He had rested enough and knew that their mission would be in jeopardy if they for a moment decided to snooze.

He looked back once again and noticed the man with his crossed arms at the far back. He had assumed initially that he had been unable to get sits, but now he thought the man was up to something else. He seemed to have something to do, good for him. He was just another one of the men in the theatre with a wack facial expression. Ninigi sighed and looked at his clone and smiled. Everyone was keeping an eye on things. What could possibly go wrong?

While Keiko was busy keeping watch of the play and the people around, she internally thought about Ninigi and his words to her just before the play started. It really did leave a foul taste in her mouth and she did feel a bit disappointed in him really, but people weren't expected to be buddy buddy all the time. After thinking back, he could have been acting in jest towards her and she had misinterpreted it as insults which was why her mood was the way it was currently.

The girl sighed. Having heightened state of emotions during this time of the month really put a bummer to her professionalism as well as her stomach. All she could do was endure and let it pass. Let it pass..

The actors and actresses that were on stage didn't act out of the ordinary so the Kaguya remained in her seat, her clones doing the same with their own positions. She glanced over towards the director and noticed him cupping his hands. Anticipation? Excitement? He was rocking slightly in his seat as the play continued.

CODE
Random Actor #5 - Mousetrap Actor
Random Actor #6 - Mousetrap Actor
Random Actor #7 - Mousetrap Actress
Random Actor #8 - Mousetrap Actress

QUOTE
In order to test the Ghost's sincerity, Kouten enlists the help of a troupe of players who perform a play called "The Murder of the Kodogu" to which Kouten has added scenes that recreate the murder the Ghost described. Kouten calls the revised play "The Mousetrap", and the ploy proves a success. As Kouten had hoped, Nomura's reaction to the staged murder reveals the King to be conscience-stricken. Nomura leaves the room because he cannot breathe, and his vision is dimmed for want of light. Convinced now that Nomura is a villain, Kouten resolves to kill him. But, as Kouten observes, "conscience doth make cowards of us all."

And so the play went on, the new actors and actresses came onto the stage as they performed their own 'play' for the new king Nomura. The 'King' exited stage left and went backstage towards one of the Kaguya's clones and headed into the tent.

"The murder of Kodogu"...this is rich, kill me now.

Ninigi was having a hard time appreciating the poetic nature of the play, seeing as the subject wasn't something he liked. His buddy Yuzuru Kodogu, would probably not appreciate the play either. He sighed deeply after he decided to accept that creativity did often require things unexpected and uncomfortable. He himself was now faced with the task of creatively making do of his time waiting for some action. The assailants were either here and silent, or on their way. They could be here already...would they be invisible or inaudible, or both?

Ninigi kept his eyes on the king leaving the stage now and was relieved when he realized it would be in proximity with one of Keiko's clones. Inaudible...Invisible...is anything invisible? He thought about turning on his heritage doujutsu but was confident that Keiko's clone would stop any sudden hitch's even if it was just for a few seconds. This play was dead, the event was dead, and now paranoia and boredom were putting him on the edge of his seat a bit. This was his conclusion.

The Random Actor #1 went off stage and headed towards the tent. One of her clones, Kei, who identified himself as a 'man' somewhat, was keeping watch of the rear. He would see King Nomura head into the tent for a couple of minutes. He would follow, letting his line of sight keep track of the random actor as he moved about in the dressing room/tent.

Meanwhile, up on the stage, Keiko sees the plot of the story starting to unfold.

So this is how it ends up.. I see.

In hindsight, she should have asked the director for a copy of the script; that way they would have known about any differences that may occur from where it was intended to go. These small 'differences' could mean the real plot behind today was happening. Information is Power. She failed to grasp the one vital thing that could help her and Ninigi do their duties.

All she could do now is sit and watch until something might happen.
