Description: Ryota is a midget. That is a fact. The fair-skinned kid sports a tuft of wavy, mid-length, pink/purple locks. His striking hair color is contrasted by a pair of wide, light gray eyes.

Ryota is fond of wearing neutral-colored clothes with bright color accents. His usual attire is a gray shirt riddled with rainbow colored lines. This is partnered with a baggy, black shorts accentuated with random bright hues. For his footwear, he wears a pair of black boots with pink/purple soles.

Simply put, Ryota is slightly flamboyant when it comes to his choice of clothes.

Personality: Ryota is a very playful kid. He always speaks in a very jolly manner, which perfectly matches his rather bright colored hair. His actions may be childish at first glance, but each of it are carefully calculated. He is a budding schemer and will always act towards a goal that will be most beneficial to him. While intelligent for his age, his young experience still clouds his judgement.

Background Aside from his flamboyant hair, nothing was special about Ryota. He was an ordinary kid born from an ordinary couple living in Akarigakure. His parents told him that they were descendants of a long lost artistic clan, but this was never proven. Not that it mattered to him though.

But the people who knew Ryota couldn’t deny the fact that he was a bright kid. Teachers in the academy had already recognized his knowledge and skills in conventional medical arts. His knack in concocting both poisons and medicines at a young age contradicted the earlier statement about him being an ordinary kid.

Ryota was special, in every sense of the word.

So as per the Element Listing:

The following are Advanced Chakra Natures, elements that are rarer and a bit more powerful than the Base Elements. These Chakra Natures require Advanced Ability Points equal to the amount of elements that form them, in addition to the base elements themselves.

So if I wanted to get Jinton, I will need a total of 4 advanced ability points (1pt for Katon, 1pt for Fuuton, 1pt for Doton and 1pt for Jinton) and 6 trait points for Extra Element?

Description: After channeling katon chakra to an active Red Lotus drone, the user can create a 1ft pentagon-shaped barrier on it. Though this provide little defensive capabilities, the fire-infused panel can be used as a 'wall', allowing beams of Puppetry: Red Lotus Particle Shot fired towards it to ricochet. More than one panel can be kept active at a time, but appropriate chakra and concentration cost will be required. This jutsu does not require handseals, but requires equivalent charge-up time.

His seemingly skinny but surprisingly toned body was born not from combat training, but from his non-stop labor in crafting puppets. He has an innocent face, adorned with calm, emerald green eyes and framed with a tuft of orange, shoulder length, curly hair. Though arguably handsome on his own right, his looks was not the most striking thing about him as it is overshadowed by a pair of prosthetic limbs acting as a replacement for his long lost limbs.

Attire-wise, Varen is very simplistic and not choosy. The teen however has an obvious preference over loose and/or baggy clothings. He is usually seen wearing a plain white shirt partnered with khaki jumpsuit riddled with pockets and straps. He also likes to wear a variety of steam-punk inspired goggles or tophats for his headgear, and leather boots for his footwear.

But behind those serene, emerald green eyes is a cunning, mischievous lunatic that completely betrays his age. Walking on a very thin line that separates order and chaos, he never questions the morality of his actions. As long as the results serve a greater purpose, be it for personal interests or for the benefit of his peers, everything is fair game.

[b]Background:[/b] A descendant of a long lost line of puppeteers from a foreign country, Varen grew up in the land of Heat with no knowledge of his lineage. Found by a Tanigakure local at a wreckage of a trading caravan, he was brought in to the hidden village. There, he was raised as a son of an old craftsman who believed he was 'a blessing from the sands'.

Not being a native in the village, Varen stood among the rest due to his unnaturally pale skin. It was considered as an oddity amongst his peers. Despite that, he never questioned his ancestry as he strongly believed that he was a pure-blooded tanii and he was the only son of the craftsman who he believed was his real father.

As years passed by, Varen showed great skills in the art of puppetry, both in crafting and manipulation. Seeing the boy's potential for greatness, the old man trained him and shared all of the crafting techniques that he knew. He learned very quickly and even surpassed the expectations of his pseudo-father. Soon enough, his uncanny knack in puppetry was recognized by the higher-ups of Tanigakure. Believing that he could become a great asset for the village's military force, he was invited to join the academy. The old man was opposed to this however. Not wanting the boy to be one of the village's 'dogs', he took him away.

Their escape was easily found by the kage. Considering the old craftsman as one of the highly valued tanii in the village targeted by many due to his great knowledge in puppetry, the kage sent out shinobi to retrieve them. The two barely escaped their pursuers, but was unfortunate to meet a group of rouge ninja who came to kidnap the old man. The situation got worse when the tanii shinobi caught up to them. A fight then ensued, which, through a series of unfortunate events, caused the death of the old craftsman and the loss of Varen's limbs. Though they lost their target, the rouge shinobi won the battle, taking in the dying boy as their price.

Also having intel about Varen's skills in puppetry, and the fact that the knowledge they sought after was passed on to him, the leader of the group saved him from death and raised him as one of their own. Through fabricated stories, they made them believe that Tanigakure was the reason for the death of his father. Broken and drove to the edge of his sanity, the boy was manipulated into becoming what he was now; A lunatic devoid of morals and dressed in sheep's skin.
