Description: The user erects a transparent spherical barrier around an object within their line of sight, with a base size of 10 feet wide. This barrier, while transparent, shimmers with a silver light, which is more pronounced during formation. When objects strike the outside of the barrier, they emerge out of the opposite side on the outside of the barrier and continue unimpeded along their flight path, as if they'd never touched the barrier or anything inside it-essentially, objects that strike the barrier skip over the barrier and its contents, as if they weren't ever there. Similarly, when an object strikes the inside of the barrier, it emerges from the opposite point on the inside, continuing with its momentum unimpeded towards the center of the barrier. The user may erect this barrier around their own body as well. The user may expand the size of the barrier-doing so does not affect the barrier's formation time, but it does cost additional chakra. This barrier has a second unique aspect; space-time jutsu other than the user's own Chimata can neither enter nor leave the confines of the barrier.

Limitations: This barrier takes 3 seconds to form completely. Should only part of an object touch the barrier while another does not, the object is still considered whole, regardless of the appearance of the object-the part touching will continue being displaced until contact is broken, however.

Weaknesses: Striking the barrier during formation causes the barrier to shatter, wasting half of this jutsu's chakra. Striking the barrier with a solid object that is larger than the barrier causes the barrier to shatter, cancelling the effect. Only solid objects may do this-energy such as fire, liquids, and gases do not trigger this effect unless they have explicitly been given the characteristics of a solid object.

Drawbacks: Use of this technique damages the user's left eye, inducing bloodloss from the eye and permanently reducing the user's eyesight in the left eye (both clarity and range) by 5%. This reduction is always calculated last, cannot be countered except by the effect of Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, and stacks every time this jutsu is used. Description: This technique has two components to its use, both connected to one another. The first is an extension of the Sharingan's ability to remember sights-specifically, the user may "record" a location in their mind, allowing them to recall with perfect clarity the location at the time of the recording. The second ability is a tunnel-the user may create a pair of rifts in space, one at a location the user is focusing on, and the other at a recorded location. These rifts are connected-passing through one will allow you to emerge from the other, effectively creating a portal. Alternatively, the user may create both ends of the tunnel within his line of sight. In either case, the tunnel forms within a single second. Additionally, the orientation of both tunnels is always identical in relation to the surroundings-if one is parallel with the ground, the other will be as well. Entering through one end always results in exiting the opposite end of the other tunnel (i.e, if you enter through the top, you'll fall out the bottom of the opposite tunnel-enter from the bottom, you will exit from the top). Both sides of the tunnel are circular, and about 4 feet wide, though more chakra may be used to expand this width. Looking through the tunnel reveals what is on the other side, and the edges of the tunnel are lined with a shimmering, silvery light. When the tunnel closes or is destroyed, any object currently passing through the tunnel is severed, leaving both halves at the respective exits.

The user may also create a tunnel to their own pocket dimension, created when Chimata first manifests in the user's eye. This dimension is locked in perpetual sunlight, despite not having a clear sun. The terrain is simply an empty plain, endlessly extending, cut only by dirt roads, crossed by another road every mile, forming an endless terrain of mile wide square plains. In the middle of every square, there is a fountain and an apple tree. Aside from these details, the realm of Chimata is featureless.

Limitations: The tunnel, regardless of how it was formed, can only stay open for five seconds. The user is also susceptible to the effect of the portal closing on their body.

Weaknesses: Striking either tunnel with a solid object that is too large to pass through will result in both tunnels shattering, as if made of glass. Striking the edges of either tunnel results in both tunnels shattering, as if made of glass.

Drawbacks: Use of this technique damages the user's right eye, inducing bloodloss from the eye and permanently reducing the user's eyesight in the right eye (both clarity and range) by 5%. This reduction is always calculated last, cannot be countered except by the effect of Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, and stacks every time this jutsu is used. Additionally, use of this jutsu causes extreme pain in the user's right eye. This drawback only applies to tunnel creation, not location recording.

Description: This technique utilizes an altered version of the tunneling ability to create a blade-like weapon, paper thin from any angle, that functions as an incredibly thin portal. When the user "cuts" an object with this blade, the portion of the object that comes into contact with this blade is transported through the portal to a distant, random location. The portions of the object that did not come into contact with the blade are severed from the missing piece. This blade, when viewed up close, shows the exit location. The edges of the blade seem to shimmer with a silver light. Due to the way this blade cuts, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to block the blade.

Side Note: While it is very unlikely, it is possible that on the opposite side of this portal, an object may come into contact with the blade, which will cause material to transport to the location of the user's blade. The user has no control over where the opposite end of the portal opens at.

These shuriken, since they can be thrown, have a much longer range than the user could otherwise manage; additionally, these weapons, due to the way they cut an object, cannot be stopped until they reach the end of their total possible range, and cut everything in their path.

Description: This technique activates automatically if the user attempts to use Susanoo while the Nirvana Sharingan is active. Rather than forming a massive spiritual being around the user's body, this technique compresses the power of Susanoo into the user's body, creating a chakra mode reminiscent of the one used by Jinchuuriki wielding their Akuma Chakra Mode.

The Susanoo Chakra Mode and its related forms coat the user's body in chakra that matches the color of the user's Susanoo, which emanates from them reminiscent of flickering flames; the chakra coats the user's body, hair, and clothing, altering the coloration to that of the user's Susanoo on every surface. Several thick black lines run down the user's clothing in this form, which culminate at the ends of the user's limbs. These lines connect to other lines that encircle the user's hands and feet. Any weapons the user wields in this form appear to be pure black in coloration, and gain the same flickering effect as the rest of the user's body.

While this form is active, the user's attributes are altered in the same way as the normal Susanoo, and the technique retains its defensive properties, allowing the user to retain the full usability of the parent technique and withstand any technique Susanoo could have. This extreme durability extends to the user's weapons wielded in this form. Additionally, the user can manifest any of Susanoo's additional body parts from the appropriate locations on their body, such as extra arms or wings, if applicable to the user's Susanoo. These additional parts are sized appropriately to the user's body. Lastly, while this form is active, the user is capable of levitation, as if they were suspended within Susanoo. The user can move through the air at the same speed they could run. Due to being a form of Susanoo dependent upon a user who has already mastered the technique, this jutsu naturally is less damaging to the user's body.

Description: Dousojin no Kokudo is an extension of Chimata's abilities, allowing the parent technique to open rifts, not just through space, but through dimensional barriers as well. To that end, the user's Chimata also becomes capable of opening rifts to a unique dimension called the Dousojin no Kokudo, or the Realm of the Crossroads God. This dimension resembles Earth, but has green skies and black grass; the terrain of the realm is nothing but a series of roads, crossing each other every mile in each cardinal direction, with empty fields of grass between the roads. Each field has a fountain of fresh water in the center of it, as well as a single apple tree next to the fountain. Despite the applies produced from this tree having white skin and pale blue flesh, they are edible and taste like normal apples. There is only one building in this realm, an empty shell used to store items. Chimata is capable of accessing any location in this dimension, regardless of whether the user has been there or not. Additionally, the user is granted a passive knowledge of the location of any foreign object that is inside the Dousojin no Kokudo.

Description: While flying through the air with Susanoo active, the user forces Susanoo to begin a dive, reminiscent of the Ten no Koutei technique. While diving, Susanoo becomes wreathed with flame that quickly takes the shape of a massive eagle surrounding Susanoo's body. While Susanoo flies through the air, small bits of flame fall from the construct; these flames then take the form of smaller birds of prey that follow Susanoo towards the target. As Susanoo approaches the target, the chakra construct draws any swords built into its form and slashes at the target, unleashing the eagle shaped chakra cloak towards the target. The infernal eagle spreads its wings and slams into the target, reminiscent of an eagle's hunting form. On impact, the eagle detonates, creating a massive fiery explosion centered on the target. The additional birds formed from the run off flame then chase and collide into the target, attacking from many directions at once; this technique has potential to strike hundreds of times.

The user may mentally manipulate these birds, allowing him to use the birds as distractions or to corral the target to the user's chosen location. Once the user makes contact with the intended target, Rasengan bursts and launches the target as normal; but from this explosion, hundreds of small fiery birds are formed, which all ram their bodies into the target. Hundreds of strikes are possible with this technique, aside from the initial impact of Rasengan.

Description: The generates a large amount of chakra around their hand and rotates it. This chakra forms into a loosely packed cloud of spinning chakra surrounding the user's forearm. When this chakra is thrust into a target, the cloud rapidly spreads forward, leaving a cloud of incredibly active chakra behind in its wake. While this technique lacks the sheer force its cousins Rasenha and Rasengan provide, it instead delivers full body damage to those caught in the blast, as the chakra contained within the technique buffets whatever is unfortunate enough to get caught within. The result is a series of countless impacts against the body. These impacts, while weak individually, are dangerous by virtue of sheer numbers, and can potentially cause severe internal bleeding and dozens of skeletal fractures along the user's entire body. The experience can be compared to being pelted with thousands of hurricane-speed pebbles all at once from every direction. While this technique is less obviously fatal than the more refined Rasengan, it can nonetheless cause a very painful death for those caught by the technique.

Drawbacks: While this technique can be maintained for no maintenance cost, the user's arm is similarly pelted by this chakra the longer it is; keeping the technique active for too long can easily render the user's hand utterly useless, perhaps permanently.

Once an object is enveloped by the cloud, the chakra within carries the Rasengan around the inside of the cloud at high speeds, assaulting the object in question with both the rapidly spinning chakra and the internal Rasengan. This technique impacts a target so many times with such incredible blunt force power that it can easily reduce a boulder to rubble-and a human to pulp.

Description: A rare example of a defensive Rasengan, this technique was born out of the observations of Uchiha Zau in seeing his teammate perform the Hakkeshou Kaiten and the subsequent frustration at his being incapable of copying it. By employing the principles of Sharingan to the basic form of Hakkeshou Kaiten, the user creates a shell of chakra around their body reminiscent of Rasengan. This shell is hollow on the inside, but just like the technique it drew inspiration from, can repel almost any technique that comes into contact with it, as long as the user continues to apply effort to rotating the chakra. As with its predecessor Rasengan, it does not require chakra to maintain; however, while this technique is active, no ability other than the user's basic bloodline abilities (not bloodline jutsu) can be used, as the user must continually rotate the chakra of the shell.

Drawbacks:
- The user must remain inside the shell while the jutsu is active
- The user cannot employ any technique or ability other than their own bloodline while the jutsu is active
- The user cannot see outside of the shell without abilities that allow the user to bypass chakra based barriers to their sight

Description: After a series of handseals, the user focuses Katon chakra to the palm of his hand. After gathering the chakra, the user focuses on intensifying the chakra as much as possible, while also keeping it contained; this results in an extremely volatile, incredibly bright sphere of chakra in the user's hand. When this technique strikes an object, it explodes away from the user's palm with incredible force and heat conically for roughly a meter; part of the danger of this technique, however, is the light itself. This technique gained it's name because the chakra gathered becomes incredibly bright, thus making it very difficult to watch this technique, as staring at it is comparable to staring at the sun on a clear day. Anything this light touches will feel a warmth through the light, akin to laying in the sunlight on a nice day.

Drawbacks: The user runs the risk of also blinding himself if he looks into the light. This drawback cannot be removed.

Description: The user creates an intangible illusion, similar to the way they would create a clone with the Bunshin no Jutsu. However, using their control over the appearance of the illusion, the user can shape it into whatever they wish. Due to the illusion being intangible, touching it will give it away. However, unlike Bunshin, the illusion will not fade with damage; it only vanishes when the user stops maintaining it. Due to this being a Ninjutsu, Genjutsu Kai and other methods to dispel illusions will not work on this technique.

Limitations:
- The size of the illusion may be no greater in volume than a 5x5x5 meter cube, and may not be taller, thicker, or wider than 15 meters. This may be expanded to a 10x10x10 meter cube and a maximum height, weight, or thickness of 30 meters via favoring.

Weaknesses:
- The illusion immediately disperses if the user is greater than 100 meters away.

Description: After a series of handseals, the user creates a massive amount of standard Bunshin clones, each altered to look like a different person. The images conjured for each clone come from the user's subconscious memory, and are not individually maintained by this technique. The clones will move about as if going about their normal day. Unlike standard Bunshin, these clones do not fade when they are touched, but rather, they are entirely intangible, not reacting at all to the world around them. Enough clones are created with enough population density to reasonably hide the user.

Weaknesses:
- While contact with the clones will not disperse them, it does give them away as illusory.
- The illusion immediately disperses if the user is greater than 100 meters away.

Appearance: Zasetsu’s handle is a dark steel color, with mesh hatchings in the handle to better facilitate a grip. The blade itself is only sharp on one side-from that side, it slowly widens until it reaches the opposite side of the blade, which is blunt and two inches wide. The edged part of the blade curves upwards at the point.

The blade is made of a unique metal that is black and extremely reflective-one could easily use this blade as a mirror.

Specialties:
The blade is forged of a metal that, in addition to being incredibly durable, is also highly resistant to chakra. Sharpened to an edge, this property allows the blade to literally cut through chakra and materials constructed of chakra. This property applies to all forms of chakra-it cuts through chakra-created stone as easily as it cuts through fire. It is important to note, however, that while the blade cuts chakra, it does not cancel it, nor does it rob it of its forward momentum. Cutting a projectile merely creates two projectiles moving in the same direction as before; cutting a barrier merely creates a cut in the barrier as wide as the blade itself.

Specialties:
A mechanism built into the inside of the bracer reacts to the pressure of the user pressing the button that corresponds to their ring finger. Only that button will trigger the mechanism that launches the blade and locks it in place. If any of the other buttons are pressed at the same time as the ring finger button, the mechanism will not trigger. Pressing the mechanism while the blade is exposed will sheathe the blade and lock it in place once again. As before, only the ring finger button works, and it does not work while any other buttons are pressed.

Personality: Ineizume is a noble, but violent creature, insisting upon using the proper honorifics and respects whenever she speaks, and insisting upon the same respects being given to her. Background Ineizume was taken from birth by the same people that took her summoner, Yui. Though Yui was capable of summoning already due to her unique heritage, Ineizume was considered Yui's initial summoning, as far as the organization was concerned. Description: Yoruhime is a truly massive bat, capable of carrying a fully grown human in flight. Befitting her species, she has a set of incredibly sharp fangs that can be used in a pinch to bleed an enemy dry. Her fur is a mix of black and brown, and her leathery wings are considerably thicker than they look. Her eyes are a deep, dark red.

Personality: Yoruhime is, unlike Yui's other summonings, quite cowardly, and hates being called to fight. She would much prefer flying from every hint of conflict, but despite this, Yoruhime does occasionally assist with Yui's contracts. If she is absolutely forced into combat, Yoruhime prefers attacking from a distance, where its safe, or with tactics that cannot be easily fought against. Yoruhime is far better suited-and far more often is employed-in stealth roles, where she can scout ahead and relay the advance situation to Yui.

Background Yoruhime was raised, like Yui and Ineizume, by a shadowy organization, bent on their own secret goals. Yoruhime was always the most contrary of the batch, often being the sole voice of opposition to the pursuit of whatever goal Yui is after. Even so, she usually ends up going along with Yui's plans in the end. Yoruhime was bonded to Yui shortly after Ineizume, as it was determined Yui would need a recon summoning to assist her.

Description: While holding the Rat seal, the user forcibly halts their chakra flow, then rapidly rushes a greater amount of chakra to their head. This process disperses the chakra causing a Genjutsu to occur, and can break it in such a fashion.
- You must be able to form the Rat handseal.
- You must break every Genjutsu effect on a single genjutsu at once, though if you are affected by multiple Genjutsu, you may choose which Genjutsu to target.

Description: Sasoboro has the general shape of a scorpion, though he has always looked rather odd; specifically, his skin, black as pitch, gives off a strange vapor that is just as dark. The vapor fades a few inches from Sasoboro's body, and is more evident around the outer edge of his frame. Sasoboro, however, is outright massive when compared to an ordinary scorpion-easily large enough for Yui to comfortably sit on without hindering the massive beast. Sasoboro's tail, curved so wickedly as only a scorpion's tail may be, seems to drip from the stinger, though whatever liquid falls never reaches Sasoboro's back. The massive scorpion's body is nearly featureless, save for his eyes-his eyes shine a bright emerald hue, stark and striking against his black form. This luminescence can be suppressed at will.

Sasoboro's appearance differs slightly to those viewing him with chakra detecting vision; he appears, rather than be black and featureless, to have a texture on his skin reminiscent of human musculature. Sasoboro appears purple and transparent when viewed this way, and the usual vapor shifts to show human faces, pulled and distorted into expressions of utmost pain. Despite not being able to see chakra, Yui is aware of Sasoboro's dual appearances, and can see whichever she chooses to see at that moment. Typically, Yui will see only the black form, which she dubs Shadow Sasoboro, as opposed to his violet version, Spirit Sasoboro.

Personality: Sasoboro is wicked and violent, even compared to Ineizume. His temperament often mirrors Yui's inner thoughts, and the giant scorpion tends to be vicious and overzealous in approaching a goal. When alone with Yui, however, he displays a somewhat softer, more thoughtful side, often acting as a soundboard for Yui's innermost thoughts. Sasoboro is entirely beholden to Yui's whims, however, and will never defy her-though he does sometimes act ahead of Yui's decisions, trusting that it's the decision she would have come to eventually. Sasoboro is protective of Yui, but trusts in her ability to kill just as easily as he can.

Background Sasoboro has no background that does not involve Yui. As her spirit beast, Sasoboro has been a part of Yui since birth, and is considered (and considers himself) to be nothing more than an outward expression of Yui's will. It would be inaccurate to say they complete each other-rather, they are two beings, entirely independent and whole, but unceasingly linked to the other. Sasoboro was born with Yui, and he will die with her as well.

Name: Nirvana Sharingan [Release From Saṃsāra Copy Wheel Eye]

Description: The Nirvana Sharingan is a unique mutation of the Sharingan, specific to Uchiha Zau as a result of his heritage and heavy infusion of Senju DNA. While similar unions have historically resulted in the Rinnegan, this eye took a diametrically opposed direction, likely as a result of his mixed heritage and the unique spirit-based abilities (and mixed heritage) found within the DNA of the person who provided Zau's Senju source; while the Rinnegan is representative of Samsāra, the continual cycle of death and rebirth, the Nirvana Sharingan is representative of release from that cycle. When manifested, the Nirvana Sharingan resembles the user's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, but glows with an intense light. The crimson of the iris fades additionally changes hues, becoming a luminous ____ instead. The light these eyes glow with is very bright, and cannot be dimmed while the Nirvana Sharingan is active.

The Nirvana Sharingan grants three principle abilities:

~ The ability to see, not chakra, but the very force of life itself. A strong life force, such as those within young people at the prime of their lives, especially if those individuals are of the Uzumaki or Senju clans, shine brightly, even through obstructions. This vitality, viewed as a bright golden light, however, can be seen in all living things, to include even plants.

~ The ability to regain the original abilities of the eyes that were used to obtain Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. These abilities gain the benefits of Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Susanoo gains a new form; it simply resembles the perfect form of Susanoo's armor shrunk down to the user's size, enveloping the user's body as weightless armor. This form retains the abilities and benefits of Perfect Susanoo, compressed to a human size. The ordinarily sized Susanoo cannot be used while Nirvana Sharingan is active.

~ Lastly, the user's ability to see chakra in all previous Sharingan forms is vastly improved; specifically, the user can predict the flow of chakra just as easily as he can predict physical movements, and can see the flow of chakra with such precision that the movements of a body can be observed even when obstructed by observing the chakra instead. This allows the user even greater ability to analyze techniques as well, as they can view the precise flow of chakra and understand intuitively how that flow affects the technique. While this has many applications, the user can employ this to copy jutsu with incredible efficiency, potentially copying it before the jutsu is even complete, and without being able to see the handseals. This also allows the user to copy Genjutsu by observing and memorizing the precise flow of chakra. All other rules of copying jutsu not altered by this ability still apply.

Activation: There is no activation event required to trigger the Nirvana Sharingan; it naturally evolves some time after the user has unlocked their Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and obtained the unique Senju DNA belonging to Vivian Hyuuga. This ability is incredibly rare; thus far, only having activated once, in Uchiha Zau.

Description: Yuna Yamamoto has a very...average look to her. Not to say she isn't pretty-it's just that her features are so generic that she could easily be overlooked. Yuna has brown hair worn at a shoulder-blade length. Her hair falls straight and has no odd flares, no layers, no highlights; it's a pleasant shade of brown, nothing more. On missions, she sometimes wears her hair in a high ponytail, but all in all, her hair is very regular. Her eyes follow suit; they are a pleasant shade of brown, slightly on the large side, but otherwise, nothing is exceedingly striking about them.

Yuna wears light blue shorts with brown stripes down the side. Her shirt is thin and brown, with blue stripes down the side of the sleeves and the side of the shirt. She wears a light blue headband in her hair and standard ninja shoes. On her left thigh, she wears a brown pouch that contains some of her gear; the rest is worn on an oversized belt she wears freely over her clothes.

Personality: Yuna is a fun-loving, sweet girl, studious and kind to her friends. She knows full well how other people see her-basic and forgettable. She embraces that about her though, opting to let them forget her and never letting herself into the spotlight. She abhors attention, preferring to have the appearance of skirting by. However, while she routinely got by without being noticed, her student records indicate that there is at least one thing she could never be called average in; while she could not easily learn many advanced jutsu, Yuna is something of a prodigy when it comes to what most ninja refer to as "basics". Many ninja believe they have mastered their basic techniques; Yuna is living proof that they aren't even close. Fittingly, she believes in completely mastering the most basic of the basic styles of combat, and eschews the fancier fighting styles as superfluous or excessively flashy.

Background Yuna had always been a quiet, unassuming girl. While she had certainly always been bright, she was never considered brilliant. She was pretty enough, in a "very normal, unblemished and natural" kind of way, but not exceptionally beautiful. She was a little on the small side, but not noticeably so. Her favorite colors, blue and brown, were decidedly unstriking. All in all, Yuna was always overlooked, as if your eyes just could not keep focusing on her, the way your eyes filter out your nose constantly. And that was just the way Yuna liked it.

In an uncharacteristically bold time of her life, Yuna informed her parents that she wanted to join the Ninja Academy. It was in the Academy that Yuna first stood out-in the least stand-out way imaginable. Yuna was incapable of wrapping her mind around advanced jutsu, or perhaps her body lacked the ability, or perhaps she just didn't like them; no matter the cause, Yuna was only capable of using basic jutsu and the jutsu derived from them. However, while some might view this as a detriment, Yuna, as always, excelled at being average. While many can say that they are skilled at using their basic jutsu, and a few others excel at once basic in particular, Yuna is truly exceptional at using the basics.

Due to her technical skill at everything the academy taught (and her knack for learning even the Genin-level basics without trouble), Yuna graduated from the academy fairly quickly. As a genin, her ambition is to continually improve at using the most basic of techniques; even so, she prefers to stay out of the spotlight whenever possible, so would never call herself exceptional. Description: With this technique, a user replaces their body with an inanimate object the moment an attack lands. This is done to evade an attack at the last second, making the opponent think the attack landed when in fact, it did not.
Limitations:
- This technique has a range limit of 25 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only expanded.
- The object the user replaced themselves with must be of approximate size to the user. This limitation cannot be removed.

Description: While holding the Rat seal, the user forcibly halts their chakra flow, then rapidly rushes a greater amount of chakra to their head. This process disperses the chakra causing a Genjutsu to occur, and can break it in such a fashion.
- You must be able to form the Rat handseal, unless you have a means to cast this particular jutsu without handseals.
- You must break every Genjutsu effect on a single genjutsu at once, though if you are affected by multiple Genjutsu, you may choose which Genjutsu to target.
- You do NOT need to break an Aftershock effect.
- You do NOT need to break effects that your Willpower is allowing you to ignore.
- To break a genjutsu of a certain rank with Genjutsu Kai, you must possess the appropriately ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. There is a Genjutsu Kai for ranks C through S. If you possess a Genjutsu of that rank and each rank prior, you may ignore this requirement, so long as you have at least the C-ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. If you do not possess a genjutsu of the appropriate rank, a jutsu slot must be used to obtain the later ranks of Genjutsu Kai. Description: The user holds a single seal and focuses their chakra for a few seconds. The user immediately moves to a new location, moving so fast that they appear to teleport. This is just chakra-assisted movement, however. This technique usually employs some sort of cover to further hide the user's movements. This technique may be used to move vertically, but it must begin while the user is on a surface they can push off of.
Limitations:
- The user cannot change direction once their movement has begun.
- The user cannot react to threats during their movement. This limitation cannot be removed.
- There must be no obstructions between the user and their intended end location. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This technique has a range limit of 20 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.
- If no cover is used, the opponent may see the user leaning in the direction they intended to go.

  Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]
Rank: B
Description: The user forms the clone handseal and creates a clone of themselves. Unlike normal Bunshin, however, this clone is corporeal, and can act on its own. The user splits his chakra evenly with any clones he creates, but also recovers some of the unspent chakra when the clone is defeated. The clones can use any jutsu or Advanced Ability the user can use, except for those that cause a great deal of harm to the body, such as the 8 Gates. Additionally, any experiences or memories the clone has that occurred after its creation are sent back to the user. This does not affect training unless otherwise indicated. Abilities that see chakra cannot differentiate between the user and his clones. The clones can withstand a few hits before dispersing. Shadow Clones also have no range limit, making these clones ideal for espionage. The clone itself provides the needed concentration to maintain this technique. Multiple clones may be created at the same time. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Drawbacks: The user can only receive a maximum of the chakra used to create the clone -40.
Cost: The user's chakra is split evenly among all created clones. A clone must be created with at least 50 chakra in order to remain stable. It may fall below this limit after the fact, but 50 is required for initial creation. While Chakra Reduction from Chakra Control or traits does not affect the amount of chakra a clone receives, it may reduce the amount of chakra necessary to form a clone.

Description: Uchiha Zau is a short, thin boy, with dark, curly hair typically worn in a high ponytail and the characteristically black eyes of his Uchiha side. His skin is white, but sun-kissed, owing to his time living in Akarigakure. Zau's features are an attractive mix of harsh and feminine features-his nose and ears are small and possess slight curves, while his bone structure is decidedly severe. Zau has adopted a style of clothing reminiscent of the Order of the White Flame's monks, with a decidedly Uchiha spin. His monk robes, featuring wide sleeves and a deep V cut on the neckline, are dark blue, and are marked with an Uchiha crest on the back of the Uchiha-typical high collar. In the top red half of the Uchiha crest, however, Zau has embroidered the Kanji for the word Smoke, in honor of the other side of his family, the Kemuri clan. His pants are the same shade, and end midway down his shins. Zau wears black ninja shoes with a high ankle.

Zau wears a blunted sword on his waist, a symbol of his insistence on not killing. Zau does not wear other weapons, but he does have a set of bandages worn around his wrists that house the seals he uses to store more weaponry.

Zau wears his village headband around his forehead, in the traditional manner.

Personality: Zau holds himself in a haughty regard, combining the legendary arrogance of both his Uchiha side with the knowledge that he is a direct descendent of THE Kemuri Zaulyl, one of the greatest heroes of the first demon war, the first Jinchuuriki of Seichi. While this is the public face he shows, in private, Zau is plagued by near constant anxiety and feelings of inferiority. Zau cannot help but compare himself to his incredible relatives, and of course, he typically finds himself in their shadow-a fact that the pride he struggles to exude constantly battles against. He joined the Order of the White Flame in an effort to reconcile these opposing halves of his-extreme pride and crippling self-doubt. Since joining, he has found it easier to temper his arrogance and to lay aside his concerns, but he still struggles.

In combat, Zau faces a different collision of perspectives. As an Uchiha and as a monk, Zau is encouraged to keep his cool at all times. His Kemuri heritage gets in the way of that. Quite frequently, Zau finds that he has to hold himself back, lest he be lost in the excitement of battle.

When he was young, Zau made the decision that he would never kill a defenseless target again; even against targets who are actively trying to harm him, Zau finds it difficult to bring himself to slay them. He carries a blunted sword as a reminder of this-his role is to protect the innocent, never to kill the defenseless.

Oath aside, Zau enjoys battle, but his true passion is research, specifically that into the histories of both of his clans. While the Uchiha records are mostly intact, Zau has never been able to find satisfactory records about the Kemuri clan, instead relying almost entirely on verbal stories. This has not managed to slake his thirst for knowledge even slightly.

Background Uchiha Zau was named for his most famous ancestor, Kemuri Zaulyl. And with that naming, the course of Zau's life was plotted out for him. He could not be allowed to sully the name of that great man-at least, that's what he convinced himself of from a young age. Zau devoted himself to uncovering the mysteries of the legendary figure he took the name of-but this was only compounded by the other half of his name. The Uchiha clan were perhaps the most notorious of all the clans to come to Seichi during the second Demon War, known for their terrifying battle prowess and their haunting crimson eyes. Knowing that he is not only a descendent of Kemuri Zaulyl, but also a prominent member of the Uchiha clan affected Zau from a very young age, and drove the youth towards ninja training, to the delight of his parents and younger brother-how could a product of the Uchiha and Kemuri be anything less than an amazing warrior, after all?

Unsurprisingly, Zau showed an early aptitude for both Fire and Wind Release, owing to his dual heritage. What was surprising, and taken as a sign of a blessing, was that Uchiha Zau's fire altered its natural color early in Zau's life; it became the bright blue, almost white hue Kemuri Zaulyl was known to possess. Zau was emboldened by this knowledge, and strove forth to the Academy to learn the trade of his ancestors and bring more honor to the name Zau.

Zau graduated from the academy without much difficulty, but found himself feeling unfulfilled as he held his village's headband in his hands. He hopes to find greater glory as an official ninja.

Shortly after graduation, he realized that, talented though he may be, those around him could easily prove to be better. Of his teammates, Zau silently considered himself the weakest-Jash was clumsy and, at times, idiotic, but he unlocked his Sharingan before Zau, he was stronger in almost every way than Zau, and he seemingly worked much less at it on top of that. As for Vivian, Zau's more mysterious teammate, she never seemed to have trouble with anything; she could summon before she was even a Genin, she was a notably talented user of the difficult Shadow Clone technique, and she seemed to focus her efforts entirely upon the more challenging aspects of ninjutsu-advanced elements and fuuinjutsu. Compared to them, Zau was lackluster at best.

This realization only spurred him onward, however. Without instruction, and without relying on his newly awakened Sharingan to decode the secrets of the technique, Zau taught himself how to properly use the famous Rasengan. Zau refined his taijutsu skills, accepting that while he may not be the strongest, he was one of the most technical fighters of his generation. Zau copied and adapted the jutsu of those around him, creating a style he could truly call his own. Zau learned a great deal of confidence, and declared a set of principles he would not turn his back on. In many ways, Zau grew considerably during his time as a Genin-and he endeavored to make his time as a Chuunin every bit as worthwhile.

  Suzaku Higen-ryu [Red Bird Flying Majesty Style]
Description: The Suzaku Higen-ryu was unwittingly created by Kemuri Zaulyl. While he rediscovered and spread the inspiration technique, Kasaijutsu (and creation of the style is commonly attributed to Zaulyl), the Suzaku Higen-ryu was created after his death, by a handful of loyal friends and Zau's own bird summonings, and rediscovered years later by the man who would go on to recreate the Order of the White Flame, Shinjou Kurabi.
The largely aerial style Suzaku Higen-ryu combines the fiery spectacle of Kasaijutsu with quick, wide, flowing attacks, resembling a bird in flight; the style bears a particular emphasis on evasion and movement. There is a branch of the style that involves kenjutsu as well; this branch, as well as the main line of the style, is based on fighting two handed, and so is based on dual-wielding swords. No matter the preferred style of the user, while using the Suzaku Higen-ryu, small flames burst from the impact point of the user's limbs, and flames will trail the blades of swords used while fighting.
Benefit: While using the wide, swirling movements inherent to the Suzaku Higen-ryu, the user's Agility and Speed increase by 5 points each. Additionally, the user's limbs and swords, if applicable, will be wreathed in flame just before every attack. While the flames themselves can only cause minor burns at best, the spectacle is something to behold, and has potential to distract the opponent.

Geigeki Ken [Intercepting Fist]
Description: This style embodies the concept of the best defense being a strong offense, and relies upon closely watching and reacting to an opponent, as well as striking unpredictably by removing physical tells from one's own movements. Once the opponent has made a move, the user is to strike faster than their opponent, in order to disrupt the opponent's movements and guarantee their own strike. In a corollary to the main purpose of the style, the user has also mastered the ability to fight completely without physical tells by keeping their muscles loose and limber, with a light sway providing momentum to their strikes, until just before the intended strike lands, when all of their involved muscles suddenly tense for the strike. Those with eyes that aid in prediction and observation, such as the Sharingan or Byakugan, can easily master the defensive nature of this style.
Benefit: While fighting in the above described fashion, abilities that predict the user's movements do not function against the user. Additionally, the user's Speed and Agility increase by 10 points each.

Description: The user creates a clone of themselves. The clone looks just like the user in every way, to include current injuries and damage to clothing. The clone can be controlled mentally by the user as long as the user can see or otherwise detect what the clone is doing. Multiple clones can be made simultaneously, but each must be maintained separately as a distinct jutsu use.
Limitations:
- The clone is intangible, being made entirely of chakra. This limitation cannot be removed.
- It cannot harm anything, though it does not necessarily disperse as soon as contact is made. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This type of clone has no consciousness of its own and cannot make its own decisions.
- This clone has a range limit of 100 feet from the user. This limitation cannot be removed, but can be extended.

Henge no Jutsu [Transformation Technique]
Rank: E
Description: The user alters his or her appearance to look like something else. This transformation looks and feels real.
Limitations:
- The transformation cannot be unreasonably different in size to the user. They may, for instance, transform into a puppy or a large piece of furniture such as a bed-however, insects and objects much larger than a bed are not possible. This size limitation varies depending on the user's natural size. This limitation cannot be removed.
- Transforming is only skin deep-the transformation may feel real, but transforming into a metal object does not make you extra durable, nor does changing into a bird let you fly, etc. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses: Any physical damage done to the user immediately dispels the illusion, as well as any reasonably distracting event. This weakness can only be removed by obtaining the Trait that allows for it.

Kawarimi no Jutsu [Body Replacement Technique]

Requirements: Nearby debris roughly the size of the user
Description: With this technique, a user replaces their body with an inanimate object the moment an attack lands. This is done to evade an attack at the last second, making the opponent think the attack landed when in fact, it did not.
Limitations:
- This technique has a range limit of 25 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only expanded.
- The object the user replaced themselves with must be of approximate size to the user. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This technique must be prepared a full post before it is used, and if no occasion comes about to use the technique, the chakra and handseals are wasted.

Nawanuke no Jutsu [Rope Escape Technique]

Description: This technique allows one to escape from ropes and wires tied to prevent their escape. This is done by using chakra to physically loosen or to sever the ropes. This technique does not require handseals.

Description: The user focuses chakra to their legs, allowing them to leap higher and further than they'd naturally be capable of. Using this technique, a ninja can easily leap to the top of a light pole, or jump across a wide road. This technique does not require handseals.

Kakuremino no Jutsu [Cloak of Invisibility Technique]

Requirements: A cloth of similar design to the background.
Description: The user hides behind a cloth, using chakra to make it blend in even better to the background, removing any apparent edges or folds on the cloth. This could render the user completely invisible if used with a cloth with an appropriate design.
Limitations:
- This technique must be used with an appropriate cloth. This limitation cannot be removed.
- Only very slight movements can be made while this technique is active. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses: Viewing the user from any angle that the cloth does not obstruct the user from the viewer's line of sight renders the technique useless. This weakness cannot be removed.

Kage Shuriken no Jutsu [Shadow Shuriken Technique]

Description: While holding the Rat seal, the user forcibly halts their chakra flow, then rapidly rushes a greater amount of chakra to their head. This process disperses the chakra causing a Genjutsu to occur, and can break it in such a fashion.
- You must be able to form the Rat handseal, unless you have a means to cast this particular jutsu without handseals.
- You must break every Genjutsu effect on a single genjutsu at once, though if you are affected by multiple Genjutsu, you may choose which Genjutsu to target.
- You do NOT need to break an Aftershock effect.
- You do NOT need to break effects that your Willpower is allowing you to ignore.
- To break a genjutsu of a certain rank with Genjutsu Kai, you must possess the appropriately ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. There is a Genjutsu Kai for ranks C through S. If you possess a Genjutsu of that rank and each rank prior, you may ignore this requirement, so long as you have at least the C-ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. If you do not possess a genjutsu of the appropriate rank, a jutsu slot must be used to obtain the later ranks of Genjutsu Kai. Only the C-ranked Genjutsu Kai is free for non-Genjutsu using characters.
- Even those incapable of learning Ninjutsu or Genjutsu can use Genjutsu Kai.

Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique]

Description: The user holds a single seal and focuses their chakra for a few seconds. The user immediately moves to a new location, moving so fast that they appear to teleport. This is just chakra-assisted movement, however. This technique usually employs some sort of cover to further hide the user's movements. This technique may be used to move vertically, but it must begin while the user is on a surface they can push off of.
Limitations:
- The user cannot change direction once their movement has begun.
- The user cannot react to threats during their movement. This limitation cannot be removed.
- There must be no obstructions between the user and their intended end location. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This technique has a range limit of 20 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.
- If no cover is used, the opponent may see the user leaning in the direction they intended to go.

Description: This technique requires no handseals, but instead requires "bumping" an individual's fist with your own. Description: By focusing only on the trail they are following, a shinobi may block out sights and sounds unrelated to their target. This technique does not require handseals, and may be used with a sword instead of a hand, in which case, the flames will burst from the blade, following the arch of the blade.

The user simply thrusts their extended palm towards a target, creating a sudden burst of wind pressure capable of lifting and tossing a human sized opponent. This technique does not push the target forcefully enough to break bones in most cases, and does not cut like other Fuuton techniques. A direct hit with this technique is sufficient to launch a humanoid target back about 10 meters, at roughly the speed of a jump.
Limitations: The technique, while capable of pushing a target back approximately 30 feet, only has an effective range of about five feet. If the target is outside that range, this technique will have no effect.

Description: A technique accidentally developed during Uchiha Zau's Rasengan training, Rasenha lacks the refined shape manipulation characteristic of a true Rasengan. As a result, it is much weaker, but simultaneously much easier to use. This technique forms an amorphous cloud of chakra in the palm of the user's hand, which is then thrust into a target. The resultant blast of chakra is capable of forcefully launching a target several meters away or breaking bones, and may render weaker targets unconscious. This cloud of chakra rotates slightly, causing the struck target to slowly spin as they're airborne. Like Rasengan, this jutsu requires no handseals to create.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] Mastery, Cost Halved, Drawback Removed
Rank: B
Description: The user forms the clone handseal and creates a clone of themselves. Unlike normal Bunshin, however, this clone is corporeal, and can act on its own. The user splits his chakra evenly with any clones he creates, but also recovers some of the unspent chakra when the clone is defeated. The clones can use any jutsu or Advanced Ability the user can use, except for those that cause a great deal of harm to the body, such as the 8 Gates. Additionally, any experiences or memories the clone has that occurred after its creation are sent back to the user. This does not affect training unless otherwise indicated. Abilities that see chakra cannot differentiate between the user and his clones. The clones can withstand a few hits before dispersing. Shadow Clones also have no range limit, making these clones ideal for espionage. The clone itself provides the needed concentration to maintain this technique. Multiple clones may be created at the same time. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Drawbacks: The user can only receive a maximum of the chakra used to create the clone -40. *Removed*
Cost: The user's chakra is split evenly among all created clones. A clone must be created with at least 50 chakra in order to remain stable. It may fall below this limit after the fact, but 50 is required for initial creation. While Chakra Reduction from Chakra Control or traits does not affect the amount of chakra a clone receives, it may reduce the amount of chakra necessary to form a clone. (23)

Raikou Kenka [Lightning Flash Blade Creation]

Description: This technique allows the user to place a sealing mark on their clothes, which can then be used to seal weapons within. The weapons sealed may then be rapidly unsealed into the user's waiting hand simply by touching the seal and imparting the necessary chakra. Anything from a shuriken to a massive sword can be sealed within the user's clothes. Any weapons sealed in this way must be listed on the user's profile, and the seal's location must be noted as well. Up to 200 lbs of weapons can be sealed into a single seal. This technique can seal objects as well as unseal them, without requiring another Fuuinjutsu.

On contact, the Rasengan grinds into its target, propels them along the Rasengan's trajectory, and at some point bursts, causing severe damage at the point of contact. While this technique can be maintained, the rotation of the chakra creates energy for the technique, thereby eliminating the need to use additional chakra to maintain Rasengan.

- All Uchiha clan members are born with an affinity for Katon element; therefore, all Uchiha clan members are born with 2 primary elements, one of which must be fire. Any subsequent elements must be purchased as normal, starting with the cost one would pay for the third element and then proceeding as normal.
- Kemuri Clan Members are capable of creating Kemuriton instead of Shakuton when combining the Katon and Fuuton elements. Additionally, clan members may obtain Altered Element (Katon) for free. When a member obtains this trait, it alters the color of the flames produced by their Katon techniques. They are able to still produce normal colored flames at will if they choose, though the default is the alternate color.

- Can recall events witnessed with Sharingan with perfect clarity
- Can copy Nin and Taijutsu (see below for complete rules)

Jutsu Copying

  To copy a jutsu, the user must be physically capable of using it, to include the user possessing the necessary element. Secret Clan Techniques and Bloodline techniques may not be learned in this way unless the required conditions of obtaining that technique (typically DNA) are already possessed. Upon observing the handseals used by an individual to initiate the jutsu while the Sharingan is active, the user may reproduce that jutsu on their own. Once temporarily copied, the jutsu in question may be used as often within the next five posts as the user wishes, at which point, the ability to use that particular jutsu is again lost. Only one jutsu may be temporarily copied per five posts.

A jutsu may also be permanently learned in this way, even if it is a Custom creation. To do so, the user must meet all OOC requirements, such as any Advanced Abilities required, possession of the proper elements, or bodily modifications. The user may not copy jutsu that build on another unless they also know the requisite jutsu. To permanently copy a jutsu, the user must have temporarily copied it and then made an effort to commit the technique to memory. The RPer must pay the appropriate Ninja Points that would have been used to learn a jutsu normally in order to copy it.

Description: Yui has a severe look about her. Her straight brown hair is typically pulled back in a tight ponytail, but when it isn't, it hangs without a single curl or errant strand to her shoulders. Yui has a patch of deep violet hair on the left side of her face, a natural result of her bloodline. Yui is all sharp angles; a pointed chin, high cheekbones, a wide brow, and a thin, narrow nose. Her eyes, large and brown, have a constant fierceness about them, as if she could, at any moment, suddenly kill everyone around her without a second thought-and she likely could. Her limbs are thin and seem frail, but years of training has honed the muscles within to perfection, given her frame.

Yui dresses conservatively and plainly; she wears cloth shoes with the barest of support, tight fitting, but flexible pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. Her clothes are composed of many different strips of cloth woven together, allowing for secret pockets to be hidden in the folds, within which most of her bombs and poisons are kept. She wears a hood separate from the rest of her clothes that rests on her shoulders as a shawl when not pulled up. She wears gloves as well, with metal plates sewn between layers of cloth on the back of the hands. The entire ensemble is in dark shades of blue and grey, so as to best hide Yui at night. Yui wears a pair of retractable blades beneath her wrists called Dewclaws.

Personality:
To say Yui is driven is an understatement; but, other than Yui herself, few can actually guess what she's driven to. Yui is willing and able to slaughter an entire room of people she's never met in an instant, satisfying some condition only she is aware of; clearly, an overarching mission is in mind for the girl, but who knows what it could be.

Yui is devoted to her cause, in any case. When she determines that a course is necessary, she dedicates herself to its completion, entirely and utterly, and refuses to allow failure of herself. Yui holds herself to extreme, unrealistic standards, accepting only absolute perfection. While she doesn't hold the same standards to others, it is not borne of any mercy on her part; rather, it is contempt that keeps her standards of others low; she simply believes that no one who wasn't raised in the Home have a shred of discipline in their bodies.

Yui doesn't bother with pretense, nor does she act nice or friendly. Everyone around her is either a hindrance or a tool to be used in furthering her goals; tools don't need nice words, and hindrances need only to be removed.

The girl repeated the mantra again and again, alongside 11 others. She heard the words, committed them to memory,
as she had every day for the last three years. She knew what they meant, but unlike most others, she ruminated on the words, she devoured their meaning, she hungered for more.

"I welcome the storm, for it serves me."


Her earliest memories are of pain. The children raised in this home knew no comfort but that they found in each other. Those moments, she held onto dearly; those few shining lights in an ocean of dark memories. Even so, those memories made her what she was today; a force of nature.

The girl's shaky breathes reassured her in the darkness. She couldn't see or hear what was happening around her, but she was almost positive everyone else was dead. She trembled as she continued her mantra, clinging to the words for dear life.

She slept for most of the ride-drugged, most likely, for she couldn't have imagined sleeping during that time. When she awoke, it was night time, and she was alone; but unlike most, Yui had purpose. - You must be able to form the Rat handseal, unless you have a means to cast this particular jutsu without handseals.
- You must break every Genjutsu effect on a single genjutsu at once, though if you are affected by multiple Genjutsu, you may choose which Genjutsu to target.
- You do NOT need to break an Aftershock effect.
- You do NOT need to break effects that your Willpower is allowing you to ignore.
- To break a genjutsu of a certain rank with Genjutsu Kai, you must possess the appropriately ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. There is a Genjutsu Kai for ranks C through S. This technique may be used to move vertically, but it must begin while the user is on a surface they can push off of.
Limitations:
- The user cannot change direction once their movement has begun.
- The user cannot react to threats during their movement. This limitation cannot be removed.
- There must be no obstructions between the user and their intended end location. This limitation cannot be removed.

Description: The user creates threads out of chakra, with a maximum of one thread per every finger. While the threads are usually visible, a skilled user of the technique may suppress the chakra used well enough to render them invisible. The threads, being composed of chakra, cannot be cut by ordinary weapons, but chakra will destroy them relatively easily. These threads are typically used by puppeteers, but can be used as a substitute for wire in any situation that may call for them.
Limitations: The threads have a range of about 50 feet; the user may only create ten wires at once. This limitation can be extended to allow threads with a range of 100 feet, but the quantity of wires may not be extended.
Weaknesses: Most offensive ninjutsu can destroy the threads fairly easily. This weakness cannot be removed.

Requirements: Affiliation of some sort with a small type of animal
Description: The user is capable of creating a clone by generating imitations of animals with whom they share an affiliation of some sort, such as birds or rodents. The user creates chakra constructs that resemble these animals, which then form a clone of the user. This clone can use non-elemental jutsu and jutsu of the user's first element, provided it has enough chakra. When struck, the clone disperses into the animals that composed it, which then flee the location. The clone is capable of basic logic and thought, and can make simple decisions on its own, though usually, it is created for a single task. Animal Clones are created with 1/10 the current chakra of their creator, and their jutsu are only 1/10 as powerful as a result. Half of the unspent chakra remaining in the clone upon its dispersal is returned to the creator. The clone itself provides the needed concentration to maintain this technique. Multiple clones may be created at the same time. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Limitations: The clone cannot move greater than one kilometer from the creator; the clone's jutsu are only 1/10 as powerful as the original's would be; the clone is not very intelligent, only able to make simple choices on its own. Only the range limitation may be extended, in which case, the clone may move two kilometers from the user.
Weaknesses: A single hit will disperse the clone, so long as it would normally be enough to cause a bruise on a person. This may be extended to allow more twice as much damage before dispersal.
Cost: 1/10 the user's current chakra

Name: Kage no Mai

Clan/Organization: Misutsu Clan

Description: The Kage no Mai of the Misutsu clan is a bloodline characterized by the production and manipulation of actual darkness. It grants the user multiple abilities, notably the ability to see through the dark, the ability to manifest a cloud of actual darkness, and the ability to manipulate said darkness in shape and density, so as to create solid objects composed of darkness itself. The bloodline comes with a significant drawback however-use of the bloodline erodes the user's personality while amplifying the darker aspects of their nature. Continued use makes this effect more pronounced, until the user's psyche is irreparably damaged. This negativity is more pronounced while the bloodline is active, but the decay of overuse is irreparable.

Physical expression of the bloodline is indicated by nearby shadows moving towards the user, enveloping him or her, and blackening the skin nearest the eyes. As the user advances in skill in the bloodline, steadily more of their form is covered by these shadows, until in the final stage, the user will appear as a black, featureless form with only the irises of their eyes visible.

Stage 1:

Description: The first stage of the Kage no Mai is the simplest in scope. The user gains the ability to see in the dark with perfect clarity, just as easily as they see in light conditions. They suffer no loss of depth perception, and while there is a blue tint to their vision, they can mostly make out color without issue. This ability functions even if there is no light present. Additionally, the user's body expels a thin shadow mist. This mist only extends from the user's body for a few feet, but disguises their movements within the shadows. This mist also conforms to the shapes around it, selectively shifting its form to better disguise the user. The user can see through this mist, but cannot deactivate it without deactivating the bloodline entirely. The mist absorbs light around it, though it can be overpowered with direct sunlight or a light of equivalent intensity. This mist follows the user, with the user always found in the center of the cloud.

Physically, this bloodline is represented by the flesh around the user's eyes turning pitch black and featureless, such that it resembles a robber's mask.

Activation: Once a Misutsu reaches puberty, the Kage no Mai may activate. In order to do so, the Misutsu must acknowledge an inner darkness they are willing to explore. Afterwards, should the member experience an intense negative emotion, the bloodline will immediately manifest.

Requirements: None

Strengths:
- Ability to see through the dark
- Ability to manifest a small cloud of shadow mist

Weakness:
- The shadow mist can be overcome by exposure to sunlight; the mist is still present, but it is not visible.

Stage 2:

Description: In this stage, the user's control over the shadow mist has expanded. They are capable of extending and distending the mist, actively taking a role in the form of their shroud. Additionally, while the mist still follows the user if they move, the user can move several feet from the center of the mist without shifting the entire cloud, allowing them to further disguise their location.

The mist has gained a new ability, however-if an object other than the user enters the mist, the shadows within will rapidly solidify and stand in the way of the user and that object; this ability is fast enough to catch most projectiles, and strong enough to withstand at least a single hit from most genin-level attacks. This defense acts intelligently, and will block as many attacks with a single movement as possible. The user can force this ability to not trigger, but doing so takes actively suppressing the ability, and deactivates it from every direction at once, robbing the user of a powerful defense.

Physically, this stage is represented by the user's skin completely turning black and featureless. Their clothes and hair are still visible as normal, as are their eyes.

Activation: The user continues to explore the darkness in their heart, and opens themselves up to further negativity. The bloodline advances during a period of an extreme emotional low.

Requirements: Kage no Mai Stage 1

Strengths:
- Can extend mist 10 feet in any direction
- Can freely control shape of mist (automatic shifting still occurs if the user doesn't actively control it)
- User gains an automatic defense from the mist.

Weaknesses
- The shadow mist can be overcome by exposure to sunlight; the mist is still present, but it is not visible. If overcome, all subsequent abilities of the mist cannot be used.

Final Stage:

Description: The final stage of the Kage no Mai gives the user absolute control over the mist, allowing them to create nearly any shape by manipulating the mist; they may also selectively solidify the mist, creating objects of comparable durability to that of their automatic defense. Additionally, the mist becomes more capable of absorbing light, now only falling to direct, high intensity light-even sunlight is no longer sufficient to completely erode the shadows. Even directed, high intensity light can only serve to brighten this intense darkness to the level of a dimly lit room at best. As the mist can no longer be entirely negated, neither can its abilities. That being said, if the mist is brightened, its solid form becomes less substantial, becoming akin to water at the weakest.

Additionally, the standard size of the mist has increased to twenty feet around the user. The user can now freely move within the mist, and even leave the cloud entirely without moving the cloud as well. The user has absolute control over the form of the mist, and can apply his ability manipulate the shape of his mist to nearby shadows as well. The user cannot apply their ability to manifest solid objects to shadows not created by their bloodline.

Physically, this stage is expressed as the user's entire form, except for the irises of their eyes, being entirely enveloped in an inky black coating that completely hides any features, even from the user's clothes.

Activation: The user must fully accept, understand, and accept the darkness within them. Upon doing so, the abilities of their bloodline are fully unlocked.

Requirements: Kage no Mai Stage 2

Strengths:
- Mist extends to 20 feet naturally
- User gains the ability to create solid shapes within the mist
- User gains the ability to leave the mist as they see fit
- User gains complete control over the shape of the mist, and can extend this aspect of their ability to natural shadows
- The mist can no longer be completely defeated by contact with light

Description: The Yondo clan is a unique one; what was originally a shared defect among clan members was developed, trained, and eventually recognized not as a defect, but as the early stage of a bloodline. The people of the clan came together, recognizing their power for what it was, years after the destruction caused by the demons. The clan is technically composed of four different lines, each associated with a particular element.

The Fire Branch is characterized, primarily, by their pale skin and brown, yellow, and orange eyes. Those in this branch are typically hot-tempered, though that is not necessarily true; in fact, the most powerful in this branch typically display a more level head than their contemporaries.

The Air Branch is similar in appearance to the Fire Branch, though they typically have lighter eyes, in the blue, green, and grey color ranges. In temperament, the Air Branch is almost completely different from Fire, however-they are primarily passive and light-hearted, though again, this is a trend, rather than a definite fact.

The Water Branch is typically darker skinned, and almost all have rich blue eyes. The Water Branch are more fluid in their personalities than the other Branches, with some being passive, some aggressive, and some stubborn.

The Earth Branch is the most widely varied in appearance, though green eyes are a common sign of heritage in this branch. Those in the Earth Branch are noted for their stubborn streak; they rarely, if ever, back down from a challenge, but when left alone, are typically content to continue as they always have. As with the others, this is not a uniform fact.

It should also be noted that, while an individual may be descended from multiple branches, and may have, as a result, a mixed appearance, their abilities always align to one of the branches they are descended from.

Special Ability:

Members of this clan are incapable of using handseals to perform jutsu; instead, they wield fighting styles that allow them to perform their jutsu instead. Additionally, members of this clan are restricted to only one base element; Fire, Air, Water, or Earth, and are incapable of using Non-Elemental ninjutsu. In compensation, however, members are capable of obtaining mixed elements containing their primary element without possessing the second requisite element. (Kekkei Touta cannot be acquired this way, and they must still obtain the Mixed Element Kekkei Genkai)

Note - Due to their inability to use them, Yondo clan members do not need to successfully complete the "Learn X Basics" requirement for promotion to Genin or Chuunin.

Background:

The Yondo clan was originally a small village, composed entirely of civilians. For decades, they lived peacefully off the land, farming their fruits, hunting, and supporting one another. Then, everything changed when the Akuma attacked. The Yondo clan tried learning jutsu, to defend themselves against the onslaught of the demons, but found that they couldn't mold chakra via handseals like most others; for years, they struggled on, relying on the assistance of those around them to survive.

It was by accident that the truth of their abilities were discovered. It was true that none of them could use handseals-however, the village of Yondo found that they were capable of manipulating elements in other ways, by incorporating chakra into their martial arts. Upon this discovery, the people of Yondo formally began learning these martial arts, and learned more about their abilities; each member was bound to just a single element, no matter how hard they attempted to learn the others. No member could naturally manipulate the Raiton element, though a few powerful members from the Fire Branch could eventually learn how. Lastly, it was discovered that there were a select handful of elites among the Yondo whose powers were even more advanced-these members could learn any element, and could enter a powerful hypnotic state that greatly enhanced their abilities, and could even learn abilities that could fight back against the Akuma.

The Yondo reorganized as a clan, and joined those fighting the Akuma at the site that would later become Akarigakure. Today, they remain a part of the village, but do not engage in the same training as others in the village, knowing that doing so would be a useless effort.
