Training, a very sensitive subject for many people, so much so most tend to train in private. Though he looked different than people, Itami had similarities too. He choose a nice quiet spot, on an old training field most didnt use and therefore didn't look in the best condition but it was also outside the walls. Brave choice indeed but he didn't care for he had plans for his future but first he needed a technique. One of unparalleled ability that ultimately used the skills of its user over impressive powers. With Fang and Pander close by, sleeping under a nearby tree, Itami prepared for the training of stage one...his technique required an already existing one first.

Hiraishin no Jutsu

First of course he had to study the understanding of Fuuinjutsu, and thanks to the scrolls he borrowed it was possible. Studying wasn't his strong point in fact it pissed him off but the formulas were far worse and only increased his rage with a headache of unbelievable levels. The varying calculations were the most difficult to understand and even the chakra manipulation wasn't anything easy to grasp. The skills it required were above and beyond normal but he had to learn this in order to get to his true goal, the two were similar enough to be the same. But what he wanted was to understand it inside and out so he could change it. Reversing it.

"To get from one place to another by otherworldly means...why must it be so complicated!"

Scratching and clawing at his head on all sides, Itami couldn't fathom much more than the one line he drew in his head. Basic simpleton understanding was all he had and he still couldn't get a grasp on that much. What he wanted was so simple in his head but the actual training and thinking of its understanding was so over the top he couldn't understand why it wasn't just do this and pay the chakra to get what you want out of a technique. The only easy part of any of this was the fact he could make his own seal, it was a customized thing of his own design. Similar to his clan's own creation of Fuuinjutsu to improve oneself and their basic capabilities, some of this was easy to under but only the basics.

Itami looked over to Fang, curled up under that tree, with Panzer leaning against his side with his hands behind his back. He looked to them and contemplated two things. The first was seeing the fruitition of all this training and learning, how he could be by their side whenever he wanted to in a mere moment. The second was knowing how he could be there for those he cared for; he could those two, his mother, Rex, little Ahsha, heck even his father. He knew what wanted and he knew how to get it so this scholar crap wasn't going to keep him down. He readjusted the scroll to try again and give it another read and though it wasn't any easier to get he just kept reading and tried to know how to properly manipulate his chakra.

With new resolve he continued the training.

He contemplated on the capability to travel so far, using chakra as a guiding force, he knew that much was an obvious given but the amount of chakra would have to be intense and the signature would have to be unique. Talk about giving himself a headache. How he was going to accomplish this was beyond him, he was but a Genin, but he knew he needed it as soon as possible if nothing else to get a head start on making it his best weapon against the encroaching darkness. Those demons had to be eliminated. They threatened existing life everywhere and now a days they were being used as weapons to combat themselves...disgusting. In anger he smashed his fist against a nearby wall that cracked it just enough to get someone's attention. Fang lifted his head and looked over to check on him and Panzer simply opened one eye, but seeing he was fine they both went back to their naps.

"Hmmm, I wonder what that was about."

"Just his usual anger, mutt, simply let it pass."

The two knew what each other was thinking, they had been family for the longest of time since they were young, and were in that family with Itami too. They knew him enough that it was probably just the think-ie parts of this training stressing him out though Panzer didn't think he could do it, it wasn't his style to think so much. Itami, with his rage passing, decided it was also a good time to let the formulas flow in his mind while he did something more productive and probably easier, though he was no artist he could start working on a seal. Perhaps it could make this simpler. He started clawing at the dirt around him to find the right idea believing it could help him decipher all this confusion that was hard work, probably simpler to most people but was he that stupid...no comment. He rolled all things through his mind, ignoring the headache, and just kept drawing anything he could think of for this seal but then it hit him. Why not instead a driving force, a purpose for this thought, something that would really bring him running. He thought of what this was for as he drew what was in his mind as the thoughts started coming together. He was so busy he didn't even notice his headache stopped. When he finished he stood up and walked away from the spot in the dirt where he left his drawing, he was ready to begin anew, again.

Forever marked that day was his purpose:

Though it was early in his training he wondered if he could truly reverse the effects of such a technique or even multiply it for even greater effects. He had so much to try out with this technique but he of course, before he could build on it, had to get it first and that was no easy task to tell the truth. Even more so if he wanted to do this alone but what could he do; just keep training like this, train with those two, practice with another, go out and do missions. There were so many ideas to train himself to be better that this was the best he could think of for his training as others would only get in the way, maybe not those two but still. No, this was something he had to do himself. Though he could go out and do missions and they would certainly help his cause, if nothing else, would certainly get his blood bumping past all this thinking. Why do Fuuinjutsu have to be so complicated. Once again he went back to scratching his head; top, chin, both sides, and even the back. This was really stressful.

It was great this didn't require any hand signs but that also meant there was less for him to understand. Performing seals wasn't really his strong point, it was more tedious than it was useful but it made his job a lot easier to get in there and do his thing at least. Probably why his people preferred to use Fuuinjutsu over Ninjutsu and little else other than Taijutsu. Quick, straight, and to the point was all they were but for now he had to focus on the process of these scrolls...why were there so many. Formulas for the seal, seal descriptions and functions, understanding worldly and otherworldly properties, processing the process, and of course seal basics. There was just so much of it and he hadn't even gotten to the actual process of doing the technique. Being stuck reading for hours was not his idea of a simple pass time. What's worse was being out of the village, yes it was close by but that wasn't enough to deter any troublemakers from making an appearance, but he was still vigilant for anything of the sorts. Even the napping Panzer and Fang had their senses on alert, hence their napping over sleeping.

So long as he kept chakra usage to a minimum and noise down to an even smaller degree there wouldn't be much of an issue from those things interrupting him, but still that doesn't mean they aren't drawn by other things. Even Panzer perked an eye a couple of times to check the surroundings and Fang's nose and ears twitched in different directions. The mere thought of such an interruption was pissing Itami off, and he was already pissed.

After a good bit of training Itami finally stopped, taking a deep breath only to sign it out. He looked to the two sleepers and shouted at them. They just pissed him off.

"Shouldn't you two be training too, the Chuunin Exams are soon gonna arrive and we've got no head way into that training. Get off your lazy fuzzy butts and get to it."

The two of them were startled awake by the noise, they'd never been so scared, but upon learning it was just Itami they almost went back to sleep but that didn't last. Pretty soon he was walking off on his own, he didn't like a feeling he had that just hung in the air, it was time to go.

"Come on, we'll find some training inside the village walls."

Pretty soon they were quiet and ready to leave, pretty soon they were at the safe gate, and very soon they were inside the walls yet again. Safe or rather basic safety and that meant to find a new place to train their skills. There were techniques to learn and practice, there was combat to master, and of course excise and hand to hand that demanded to be performed.

"Why does he always insist on the loud manner, why can't he just ask and direct."

"Brutes are brutes, I love being smarter than your average dog."

OOC: Battle Arts: Battle Mode training - 9 paragraphs

IC: Back in the village now Itami started working his little friends to the bone, they've been too lazy. First up was Panzer and his Battle Mode power, an ability they devised to help in the surprise attack style that he enjoyed. For starters he had to gather his chakra and flow it in the correct manner before he could even start but of course that was going to take time for something new. He pointed to each part of Panzer's body, to get the idea in his head that he had to control every inch of his chakra network if it was going to work. Panzer understood and started molding his chakra to release his full power.

Similar to the eight gates, he had to release the body's limits on this little body, using it as a means for physical prowess above that of other shinobi. Since he was still technique one of them it shouldn't be too difficult to get that as they did go to the academy at the same time and learned together, even Fang. The chakra flow had to not only release his limiters they also needed to change, to drastically alter his physical self so he could fight appropriately but this worried Itami just enough to take precautions. Itami was already studying hard with Fuuinjutsu so while Panzer focused on his chakra Itami got close and started applying chakra seals to certain areas where the flow was heaviest.

With that done, Itami counted two seals in total but just for safety measures he also implemented a third one, one that would store excess power when he released other seals and when the ability ended. Sort of a way to store up energy he didn't use and still have it useful in the future, but of course that was probably the most dangerous feat he performed. First he had to master his full power which meant mastering this particular Battle Arts and its two sealed stages. When he was ready Itami instructed him to release his baser power and then come at him, they had to see how far he could push this power at its starting stage.

After some time had passed Panzer felt ready to start and he looked to Itami for the all clear, he just gave an uncaring look that shouted "just do it". Without another second to waste he released his power all at once and in a flash he grew to greater heights. Panzer now stood six feet tall with strange new clothes no less but his attitude is what really caught Itami's attention. Even Fang felt uneasy. Itami started to say something but in no time he was upon him, face to face, tongue reached out and licked the corner of his face just under his left eye which gave Itami the creeps. He lunged out and struck at the tease to rile him up but missed. Panzer was playing with him with a huge irritating grin on his face and that damn tongue was still sticking out.

"Ready for another one, puppy?"

"You won't do that again...YOU HEAR ME!"

"Hmmm, hnnnn, you're right...I'd rather taste, your blood."

Not but another second since his last word was he upon Itami again and punching him with incredible force that sent him flying into a training wall normally used for walking on but now it was a vertical landing pad. Or crash pad. Itami blasted right through it with a hard hit from that last punch, Panzer certainly had power behind his attacks but what he lacked was control, their whole purpose for this training. He needed to get a hold of himself before he did something he'd regret but the attacks didn't let up as more strikes came at blinding speeds, each with the same tremendous force. Holding throughout all this wasn't easy, Itami wasn't that durable nor could he heal that fast. What's worse this was just the first level. What would happen when the time came to release the other seals on him.

Panzer on the other hand was struggling, he knew what he was doing and was trying to stop but his chakra was a mess, a tangled web of insanity that he couldn't reason through. He didn't understand how this could still be him but he had to focus on gaining control over this "other half of himself" otherwise Itami would never let him use this power. What's worse, he could end up hurting someone seriously, for one Itami was in the blast zone. Trying to hold himself back, Panzer gave Itami openings to move out of the way of his attacks that were on the highest level of Chuunin shinobi. Mere seconds were just enough to work out in his favor, buying Panzer more time to regain control but it wasn't going to be that easy. Itami had seen enough and motioned for Fang to join the fight and train with them.

Fang wasn't ready to join in yet, he was still focusing on what he could do with the two techniques he had to work on. Itami wasn't happy but knew Fang was smart enough to know when the right time for his intervention would be, he just had to hold out long enough for either Panzer to regain control or Fang to aid and train. Panzer swung wild and crazy, shouting out crazy sounds like "woohoo" and "yeeaaah" over and over again and it was really annoying. Dodging attacks only greeted him with these annoyances while taking hits greeted him with strikes that felt like they'd break his bones. Panzer could feel him loosing his grip on who he was, he was losing himself to this madness of his erratic chakra flow.

Gripping his head, Panzer couldn't make out any sense, he couldn't find balance with this wild nature of his and couldn't believe this was really him. He figured someone was possessing him or some demon trick. He didn't know what he could do against this crazy nature but then he remembered something Mrs. Aino told them, about finding peace and serenity. She spoke of finding his purpose, to find something he could hold onto throughout his whole life and would help him when he lost hope. If he could figure out something to focus on then perhaps he could grasp his sanity again but he was on a time limit because he didn't know how long Itami could last against him.

As the fighting slowed down, Itami and Panzer locked and clashed arms and fist over multiple times. Panzer was slowing down and it gave him an opportunity to strike back, to send his own control right back at him to grant the irritating cat more time to find his balance. He looked upon his friend, his family, Panzer wanted to find something in him, the strength he had to continue on and seek his own plans. He wanted what Itami had, he wanted to gain his truth as well, he wanted to use this strength to his benefit in order to benefit others. With the last effort of his strength Panzer pulled back an inch from smashing Itami's face in and broke the form he had, returning to his old self, only to be caught from falling by a hand.

"About time...get some rest."

"Heh, I'm not the one beat up head to toe, but alright."

OOC: Water Release: Shrouding Mist training - 9 paragraphs

IC: With Panzer done for the moment Itami moved on with the next set, Fang had apparently devised a couple new water techniques himself. It was explained they work very well together and even worked to their advantage but Itami was no fan of using tactics to diminish his opponent. Sure it forced others into the same "natural talent fight" that Itami himself was into but it was still a technique's trick, one that blocked all super senses. Fang prepared for the first part, he had to get the first technique off apparently before the other. Focusing on his chakra he inhaled deeply only to hold it there for but a moment before releasing the held breath, but nothing came out. Itami looked around in question but nothing happened.

It didn't take long before something started to look different, a fog back was rolling in, it was vast and covered a wide area. It took its time but once set in Itami couldn't see much of anything within the mist albeit for the first five feet or less. He wandered around but couldn't seem to get anywhere which just left him hopelessly lost but he also felt like he wasn't alone, there was something else in the mist with him. He figured it was Fang but he wasn't where he last saw him and these were multiple sounds he was hearing and they only increased in speed and numbers. He searched around aimlessly but found no clue as to what he could try, he simply moved forward.

It didn't take him long before too long he ran into something. Something bumped into him but instead of him face planting into the ground the thing bounced off him. It was small and made a strange sound when it hit the ground. Itami tried to wave away the mist in front of him to get a better look but the mist only reformed itself, moving back in where it was just waved away, talk about irritating. Itami instead sniffed the air in front of himself and sure enough he caught wind of something, or rather someone. He saw a hand reach out from the mist and it was small, kinda wrinkly, and slow but it came together and he rushed forward to grab it gently and helped it up.

That damn mutt, he fired off a technique without first checking the area. Itami held out his big burly and furry left arm and reached out with the right hand, watching his claws, and supported the back as he helped it up. Once close enough and standing he could truly see, it was an elderly woman. He checked her over to make sure she was alright and she just looked on with a tiny smile on her face. Shocking for someone not to be scared when they run into a "monster" in a large cloud of mist but I guess she's quite different. That smile for one thing was something else he hadn't seen on someone's face before, especially when they run into him like that. More screaming, some more shouting, followed by occasional bouts of running away.

"Um, are you alright?"

"Hm...why yes child I'm quite alright. I use to be a shinobi myself."

He exhaled a sigh of relief. Now he had to find Fang to inform him of removing this mist but by the looks of it that wasn't going to be quite so easy. Knowing him, Fang probably doesn't understand how his technique works all that well, it was his first time using it. He released his right hand and simply let her cling to his left arm for support and guidance as he started walking. That damn dog had to be more careful, Itami was learning first hand that such a technique is largely affecting, it hits a wide area and catches all in its existence. That means allies too. He hoped Panzer was okay, he won't be happy when he wakes up and sees this.

"If you're lost child let me help, I know a few detection abilities still. Natural talents never leave you even while your jutsus fail and recede with your chakra."

"......well now that's odd. I can't see anything but what I'm seeing; I can't smell any chakra beyond five feet, I can't hear any chakra either, I can't sense anything, I uh......"

Itami grabbed the old woman as she collapsed from the overload of chakra. This technique was dangerous to chakra sensors because all they sense is the entire cloud of mist, that much chakra over such a wide area was too much. Not to mention this old woman had multiple medians for sensing chakra, it was too much on her. Itami gently picked up the old woman in both his arms and carried her with him as he walked on, he had to find Fang quickly. This mist seemed to go on forever and he couldn't understand how such a low ranked technique could be so vast, but then he remembered the Hidden Mist move he had seen before. Such a technique reached hundreds of meters and since this technique did a lot more it had to have sacrificed some distance which means Itami had a chance to get this old woman to safety. Then again there were those sounds.

He walked for what seemed like hours with no change it sight, he barely avoided structures or stairs not where he expected them. He wasn't too familiar with this area but he had to find Fang no matter what, this training got an unexpected variable in it, this old woman. What was she doing here anyway, this area was all quiet and practically empty, not many people were around at this time of the morning. Most still slept. He looked down and was about to check on her but then some sounds caught his attention. It was fast and getting closer, it was closing in, there was more than one and it was BEHIND HIM. He spun around to see.....nothing. He carefully scanned the area but still nothing until a shout caught his full attention and spun back around front but nothing was there but the voice.

"Damn Itami, you sure are jumpy aren't you, what's wrong?"

He looked around but couldn't see anything but only one creature meowed like that. He looked down and saw Panzer with that same look of confidence and condescending expression, he had already woken up and was on the move, somehow finding him. He climbed up and started pointing to his face, once on his shoulder he could point out more clearly. He was pointing to his ears and nose, that's how he found him and that's how they could get out of here. Itami had simply assumed that all senses were blocked, that Fang's cloud of mist blocked everything, especially since his hearing was throwing him around all over the place. But if that was true then what was he hearing out there.

Panzer saw the old woman in his arms and he immediately understood what they had to do. They both scanned the area carefully to find their target, clean yet a little mangy, Fang shouldn't be hard to find. Smelling in the mist wasn't easy, the dampness of it all made everything less scented so that made Itami's nose practically useless. He may have more acute senses than anyone else had normally but it wasn't super sensed like these two and their sensing skills. This may have been training for Fang to work his technique but it was training for the whole team to learn how this technique worked and would work out for them in the field. Panzer was having an easier time for sure with his skills in sensing things with his ears and nose.

OOC: Communication Seal training - 9 paragraphs

IC: Things were getting more difficult for the pair. With Itami's senses weakened and Panzer being the only one capable of doing anything in this mist without being able to guide Itami properly they were going to have a lot of trouble. How could they communicate if not with their voices. It took Itami awhile but then he remembered he had his own method that should also be very useful here. He pretty much forgot about it after all this time, he had lived and grown up with these two that it was hard to not know what they were saying or thinking, he never had a reason to learn this technique.

Well less of a technique and more to his liking, it was a seal. He called Panzer back because he'd need this as well, it was imperative that there were two of them for this to work, especially in this mist. Kneeling down until his knee was on the ground, he rested the old woman against it, freeing one hand for this practice. He started thinking to himself, drawing a seal in the dirt at his feet. Not much longer, Panzer finally showed up as he followed the sound of Itami's heavy breathing and scratching in the dirt and seeing him doing it was different. He was curious what Itami had in mind but unfortunately he had to wait.

He beckoned Panzer closer so that he could understand a bit more of what he was about to do. Getting a closer look really didn't help that much but he knew it was important so he simply remained still and watched carefully as the symbol became clear. It was a seal, a Fuuinjutsu formula or something like that. Was this to help them communicate? If so now was the time...no...now was the perfect time for it if they were going to maneuver this mist with only a moderate level of useful sensory data. He was really paying attention now.

Once the seal was drawn on the ground Itami would try and explain it better for him with more dirt drawings. That was probably pointless though given how writing was also less clear than english speech patterns. This was going to be hard but he made sure Panzer was watching carefully, apparently class was in session and he had to teach this little guy how to understand perfectly if they were going to make this work. Those sounds, however, were still out there and he still could hear them but also figured it might be some trick by Fang.

With the worry out of his mind Itami refocused on teaching Panzer the truth behind this seal. In all honesty he was starting to understand, the Fuuinjutsu was that, a technique that sealed something inside a person. It wasn't hard to figure out that it was sealing the language one needed to communicate so why was this so complex, it wasn't Itami's style to be complex. What the hell man. He could only stand still for so long before stretching his arms and walking off to get the stiff out. He bent and stretched for a few moments then went back to watching.

Itami on the other hand was irritated that he just walked off while he was trying to help the little guy, help them both in this difficult situation. He simply ignored it though as he knew he could still listen with his ears, but how could he if he didn't understand his speech. Then again they did grow up together, being raised and trained together, after some time language sticks in the mind of animals like pets naturally. They understand a few words after hearing them enough times and then pick up on the emotion behind the word or words and then its easy to understand. That's probably the only reason they've gotten by for so long without being able to communicate.

With the seal fully drawn and explained as much as possible Itami began performing what he knew, he had to draw the seal on Panzer's forehead to start. He focused on the language itself as his chakra was molded and then took a single finger and pressed it to his forehead. He could fee the chakra drain on his body, this was going to cost quite a bit of chakra, but it was a one time use so its not like he'd ever have to do this again. At the same time he remembered to seal the other in as well so that not only could they understand one another they could spread the seal to others who needed to communicate. To Itami this would become their secret weapon, a way to talk so that no one could know. It wasn't much different than knowing animal speech but some could understand it and with a canine and feline being so common it would certainly be a risk.

In their current situation Itami also knew making sounds risked the enemy finding their location through the mist with just sound alone so once again this had even more uses. The seal as a whole, with both effects, took a massive toll on Itami's chakra pool but like it was said this was just a one time thing. With the seal drawn and the information sealed in them both Itami pulled back, he readjusted and reaffirmed his grip on the old woman and stood up with her in his arms. He was looking down, peering into Panzer's eyes to see if he understood, to see if the seal worked but nothing happened until Panzer made a mocking face and pointed at him. Not only that he started to hear something.

Wow that face of yours is priceless, you gotta tell me who does your face transplant,
I think I wanna have that same look when we find Fang.

Why you little furball I'll skin you alive!

Well, it seems your seal worked, we're having a meaningful conversation mutt.

You know people say there's more than one way to skin a cat...you wanna help me count the ways?

Heh, maybe later, for now lets focus on finding Fang. He should have this seal too.

The two spent the next part of their search testing out range and volume on the seal, to see what was required and what was acceptable for loss of certain senses. They didn't have to see each other it seemed but they did have to be within a certain range of one another, that was slightly irritating, but they wouldn't split up that often anyway. It was a manageable sacrifice. They used their other senses, scent and hearing, to keep track of one another to make sure they always stayed within range of one another when they started going in different directions. They would always do so when sight was useless and with Fang's interest in such techniques as these that was going to be quite often. Oh well at least now they had a work around method, now just had to give it to Fang too.

OOC: Water Release: Pack Brutality training - 9 paragraphs

IC: It had only been a few minutes since they established a good line of communication but as of late something else had their attention. Those sounds were becoming more and more frequent.

Panzer...

...I realized...

Is it him...

Not unless he gain five time as many legs in the last hour or so.

They both became away of the increasing sounds and now they were really coming in closer and it didn't seem like they were going to keep playing this game of cat and mouse or dog and cat depending on your point of view. Itami walked for a few moments before finding a tree. He placed the old woman carefully on the ground and covered her with his cloak to keep her warm and dry but most importantly safe. He turned away from her and without a second to think a strange looking creature lunged at him, knocking him to the ground with a loud thud. Thankfully not on top of the woman. Up close he could see it, a wolf, made of water. It was snapping at his face and clawing at his chest as he kept the neck pushed back with his arm.

Panzer!

Not too long since he hit the ground, was Panzer coming out from the mist and punching the water creature as hard as he could right in the face. It went splat and splashed its form all over the area. Thankfully the cloak kept the old woman dry but Itami was drenched and Panzer had a wet fist and face. Getting up and shaking themselves dry they refocused their attention on the mist as they hear four more sets of sounds like the last one. There were still four more of them out there ready to strike again and once again they came out of nowhere. It was clear to these two that being made of water meant they weren't alive and had no scent, leaving two facts in their minds. Listen for them and destroy them upon contact. They had to let them get within five feet so that was dangerous but there was little choice but at least they were weak.

Two more charged at Itami's back which got Panzer's attention but then the last two charged at his back. The two were in sync, more than ever now, they rushed past each other and smashed into the opposite wolves. Panzer jumped up to avoid the first and crash landed on the second's head, forcing it to hit the ground hard enough to splatter it then he jumped with all his force and punched the first in the side. The hard hits made them go splat rather easy. Itami just rushed in and grabbed the last two by the neck and slammed them against a nearby building causing them to splash water everything. It was like a watery gore fest.

That was rather easy. Much too easy. If this way Fang's big trick then why was it so easy. Not one moment for rest was Panzer beset by another from behind. Why didn't they hear a sixth one out there? He called out to Itami who turned in a rush to help him but what stopped him was almost a scary sight. Four more wolves were forming in front of him between the two. These things, there were only five but they only reconstituted themselves after being destroyed, this fight would never end in that meaning. Itami didn't care as he blew past them, taking out the middle two first before they completely reformed and kept going to Panzer's aid. He lashed out and took out the head of the water construct and got the little cat to his feet and on his shoulder where he'd be safer.

I'm...open...to...i...ideas here big guy.

I was going...to ask you...

Damn...are we this...this useless without...out brains, Fang?

They couldn't think of anything in the middle of such combat. They knew Fang was behind this attack but how could they search for him while these things were on the attack and would keep coming back no matter how many times they were splattered. Itami figured the best bet was to take them out all at once or quickly enough at the same time and then search for Fang while they reconstituted, that would buy them some time. Panzer figured much the same thing so the two were in agreement. Hit hard and hit fast. The five were once again whole and upon the pair once again but somehow they were different, they had their own plan of attack.

They started splitting up, going out in different directions and coming in at different intervals for an attack pattern. With such variants in attacks it would be much harder to take them out together. They were fighting Fang after all, he was much smarter than the two of them, but they'd never admit it. They spent much of their efforts on the defense, any moment they had an opening on one of the constructs another one jumped in and intervened on the fight, they supported one another and really took advantage of each attack. They left absolutely zero chances for a counterattack. Itami was a fast fighter but reacting quickly in anything refined less than speed, agility, he was pretty lacking but Panzer had an easier time with it because he had the physical prowess to do such. Itami could take the hits and keep on going, however.

Under the stress of the onslaught, the two fighters were barely holding their own, Panzer couldn't do all the work and Itami couldn't keep up. He wasn't defensive so he stopped going on the defense. Instead of avoiding and blocking he ran straight into combat with the wolves as they bit and clawed and crashed into him. He just took the hits and kept on going, splatting them into the ground by hitting them or throwing them, it gave him plenty of openings. However, they all started focusing their attacks on him and less on them both and Panzer didn't appreciate that but something changed his mind. His nose caught wind of a different smell, he ever heard a sixth pair of feet not any of theirs.

"Could that be..."

He looked around frantically to find the source but he couldn't see very far, hell he could barely see Itami getting overrun by all the wolves, never mind the fact that one of them vanished. Something rammed into Panzer from behind and knocked him to the ground again...found it. He thrashed around trying to get a footing while avoiding having it maul him to death but he lost control and in an explosion he released his power. His Battle Mode.

Yeaah, you mutts wanna play hard huh, well lets see how the six of you do!

Itami was already getting a headache seeing that giant panther back already. It thrashed about, crushing the wolves with ease and even helped Itami to his feet. The two stood back to back and faced the reforming constructs yet again though now they weren't so overrun, they could now focus on the fight at hand and leave their senses open to find Fang. Easier now that the fight was changing pace, it made Fang move around a lot more, he started coming around to different angles and ranges. This whole time his senses were locked in on the two of them quite easily and able to focus on sending the wolves in appropriately. His ability to direct them with his senses alone was amazing, he couldn't even see in the mist and yet he knew when to have them attack, avoid, and intervene.

In a single huge attack Panzer saw an opening, Fang apparently was panicking and sent in all five at once, big mistake. With a jump and a huge spin, Panzer swung around like a spinning top, letting his legs spin around the kick all five in a single attack. With so much strength he sent them flying and splatting giving Itami his opening to dash forward and grab Fang. He struck out with his hand and hit him on the forehead embedding him with the seal and sync seal to cue him in on their new line of communication.

Stop!

I...what....what is this?

I think you've trained enough.

Sorry...I just...wanted to test their full capability...I...I'm almost out of chakra.

Turn it off NOW we got an elderly woman who got caught in the training area.

Taken aback by the declaration of friendly fire, and the lack of chakra, Fang released the mist and it dispersed completely alongside the wolves. Apparently they needed the mist even to exist. But Itami already discovered the mist wasn't possible to be rid of so long as it was maintained which only makes it even more dangerous. In the field they'd need to communicate with each other, cover Fang while its in use, and stay on the move out of sight to keep opponents guessing. Fang had to stay still otherwise that way there was less chance of his discovery, even with scent the mist would mask much of it, just had to move him clear when the technique was performed. This training was for their whole benefit and it was a success but for now they had to help the elderly. But there was another matter to deal with.

The training was over, Itami and the other two were spent, Panzer a bit more since he had to use his Battle Arts a second time and that left him almost unable to move. He was draped over Itami's shoulder while Fang followed closely beside as Itami himself carried the elderly woman. They noticed at the end of their training there was a small crowd gathering or more like three people who were clearly village shinobi officials. They didn't look happy.

Calmly and carefully Itami explained the meaning behind their training and they learned that training like that in such a wide area of the village, that mist caused trouble for this area of the village. They all apologized and handed the elderly woman over to the officials for her to be taken care of, they all felt guilty though really Itami just felt bad, he didn't know what guilt really felt like. They were given a warning that if they were to train that they had to find a better place than the middle of the village, a verbal warning meant next time they wouldn't get off so.

Fang himself apologized to Itami and Panzer for taking the training so seriously but they really didn't mind, they weren't the one who gave him the tongue lashing of a life time. They had to work on their technique training for next time, next time, that word was a horrible thought. Where does one go to train such wide ranged techniques, outside the village was dangerous and training fields still were within range of the village if not within the village. What a drag.
