Description: Yui has a severe look about her. Her straight brown hair is typically pulled back in a tight ponytail, but when it isn't, it hangs without a single curl or errant strand to her shoulders. Yui has a patch of deep violet hair on the left side of her face, a natural result of her bloodline. Yui is all sharp angles; a pointed chin, high cheekbones, a wide brow, and a thin, narrow nose. Her eyes, large and brown, have a constant fierceness about them, as if she could, at any moment, suddenly kill everyone around her without a second thought-and she likely could. Her limbs are thin and seem frail, but years of training has honed the muscles within to perfection, given her frame.

Yui dresses conservatively and plainly; she wears cloth shoes with the barest of support, tight fitting, but flexible pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. Her clothes are composed of many different strips of cloth woven together, allowing for secret pockets to be hidden in the folds, within which most of her bombs and poisons are kept. She wears a hood separate from the rest of her clothes that rests on her shoulders as a shawl when not pulled up. She wears gloves as well, with metal plates sewn between layers of cloth on the back of the hands. The entire ensemble is in dark shades of blue and grey, so as to best hide Yui at night. Yui wears a pair of retractable blades beneath her wrists called Dewclaws.

To say Yui is driven is an understatement; but, other than Yui herself, few can actually guess what she's driven to. Yui is willing and able to slaughter an entire room of people she's never met in an instant, satisfying some condition only she is aware of; clearly, an overarching mission is in mind for the girl, but who knows what it could be.

Yui is devoted to her cause, in any case. When she determines that a course is necessary, she dedicates herself to its completion, entirely and utterly, and refuses to allow failure of herself. Yui holds herself to extreme, unrealistic standards, accepting only absolute perfection. While she doesn't hold the same standards to others, it is not borne of any mercy on her part; rather, it is contempt that keeps her standards of others low; she simply believes that no one who wasn't raised in the Home have a shred of discipline in their bodies.

Yui doesn't bother with pretense, nor does she act nice or friendly. Everyone around her is either a hindrance or a tool to be used in furthering her goals; tools don't need nice words, and hindrances need only to be removed.

The girl's head was pulled from the water just as her vision started to go dark. She choked down a sparse handful of gasps before her face was shoved back underwater. If she thought about it, this wasn't the hard part; it was getting up again, day after day, with the knowledge that this was what awaited her.

Yui has no memories of her real family. In all likelihood, Yui isn't her name. She knows her surname, Jitaku, is incorrect; everyone at the home left with the name Jitaku. Since she was a child, Yui was raised by an organization that has no name, in a home that she no longer knew.

"I embrace the chaos, for it serves me."

The girl repeated the mantra again and again, alongside 11 others. She heard the words, committed them to memory,
as she had every day for the last three years. She knew what they meant, but unlike most others, she ruminated on the words, she devoured their meaning, she hungered for more.

"I welcome the storm, for it serves me."

Her earliest memories are of pain. The children raised in this home knew no comfort but that they found in each other. Those moments, she held onto dearly; those few shining lights in an ocean of dark memories. Even so, those memories made her what she was today; a force of nature.

"I fear not the dark, for it serves me."

The girl's shaky breathes reassured her in the darkness. She couldn't see or hear what was happening around her, but she was almost positive everyone else was dead. She trembled as she continued her mantra, clinging to the words for dear life.

"I know the unknown, and it serves me."

When she came of age, a bag was placed over Yui's head. She left Home then, left her safe, secure valley. She slept for most of the ride-drugged, most likely, for she couldn't have imagined sleeping during that time. When she awoke, it was night time, and she was alone; but unlike most, Yui had purpose. She had meaning. She wouldn't falter in her mission.

"I do not exist. This serves me."

The smell of blood was thick in the air. Around her, the recently dead were silent, the only sounds the occasionally lapping of blood against the floor. Yui's breaths came easily, her heartbeats steady. Blood dripped down from her blades, and it coated her skin. It laid so thick upon her that her clothes were matted down; not a drop of it was hers though.

"The chaos is mine. The storm is mine. The darkness is mine. The unknown is mine. My existence is mine. I serve no one."

Multiple clones can be made simultaneously, but each must be maintained separately as a distinct jutsu use.
- The clone is intangible, being made entirely of chakra. This limitation cannot be removed.
- It cannot harm anything, though it does not necessarily disperse as soon as contact is made. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This type of clone has no consciousness of its own and cannot make its own decisions.
- This clone has a range limit of 100 feet from the user. This limitation cannot be removed, but can be extended.

Henge no Jutsu [Transformation Technique]

Description: The user alters his or her appearance to look like something else. This transformation looks and feels real.
- The transformation cannot be unreasonably different in size to the user. They may, for instance, transform into a puppy or a large piece of furniture such as a bed-however, insects and objects much larger than a bed are not possible. This size limitation varies depending on the user's natural size. This limitation cannot be removed.
- Transforming is only skin deep-the transformation may feel real, but transforming into a metal object does not make you extra durable, nor does changing into a bird let you fly, etc. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses: Any physical damage done to the user immediately dispels the illusion, as well as any reasonably distracting event. This weakness can only be removed by obtaining the Trait that allows for it.

Description: With this technique, a user replaces their body with an inanimate object the moment an attack lands. This is done to evade an attack at the last second, making the opponent think the attack landed when in fact, it did not.
- This technique has a range limit of 25 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only expanded.
- The object the user replaced themselves with must be of approximate size to the user. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This technique must be prepared a full post before it is used, and if no occasion comes about to use the technique, the chakra and handseals are wasted.

- This technique must be used with an appropriate cloth. This limitation cannot be removed.
- Only very slight movements can be made while this technique is active. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses: Viewing the user from any angle that the cloth does not obstruct the user from the viewer's line of sight renders the technique useless. This weakness cannot be removed.

Kage Shuriken no Jutsu [Shadow Shuriken Technique]

Genjutsu Kai [Mind Technique Release]

Description: While holding the Rat seal, the user forcibly halts their chakra flow, then rapidly rushes a greater amount of chakra to their head. This process disperses the chakra causing a Genjutsu to occur, and can break it in such a fashion.
- You must be able to form the Rat handseal, unless you have a means to cast this particular jutsu without handseals.
- You must break every Genjutsu effect on a single genjutsu at once, though if you are affected by multiple Genjutsu, you may choose which Genjutsu to target.
- You do NOT need to break an Aftershock effect.
- You do NOT need to break effects that your Willpower is allowing you to ignore.
- To break a genjutsu of a certain rank with Genjutsu Kai, you must possess the appropriately ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. There is a Genjutsu Kai for ranks C through S. If you possess a Genjutsu of that rank and each rank prior, you may ignore this requirement, so long as you have at least the C-ranked version of Genjutsu Kai. If you do not possess a genjutsu of the appropriate rank, a jutsu slot must be used to obtain the later ranks of Genjutsu Kai. Only the C-ranked Genjutsu Kai is free for non-Genjutsu using characters.
- Even those incapable of learning Ninjutsu or Genjutsu can use Genjutsu Kai.

Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique]

Description: The user holds a single seal and focuses their chakra for a few seconds. The user immediately moves to a new location, moving so fast that they appear to teleport. This is just chakra-assisted movement, however. This technique usually employs some sort of cover to further hide the user's movements. This technique may be used to move vertically, but it must begin while the user is on a surface they can push off of.
- The user cannot change direction once their movement has begun.
- The user cannot react to threats during their movement. This limitation cannot be removed.
- There must be no obstructions between the user and their intended end location. This limitation cannot be removed.
- This technique has a range limit of 20 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.
- If no cover is used, the opponent may see the user leaning in the direction they intended to go.

Kaihou [Open]

Description: By forcing chakra into a locking mechanism and taking control of the chakra itself to manipulate the lock, almost any lock can be opened with this technique. The user can also lock any lock without a key by using this technique. This technique requires no handseals.

Description: The user closes his or her eyes and focuses instead on one of their other senses. So long as the user does not open their eyes, their perception in regards to that single sense is doubled. This technique does not involve chakra.

Ken Tokki [Fist Bump]

Description: This technique requires no handseals, but instead requires "bumping" an individual's fist with your own. Doing so allows a minor amount of chakra to leak both ways, which allows both sides to understand the intentions and motives of the other more readily. This technique cannot be used against an unwilling individual.

Tsuiseki [Tracking]

Description: By focusing only on the trail they are following, a shinobi may block out sights and sounds unrelated to their target. This in turn makes details related to the trail stand out more accurately. This can be applied to any method the user is utilizing to track a target, and does not utilize chakra.
Limitations: The user must already have a trail to follow. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks: The user may not notice hazards around them; it is not recommended to use this technique alone. This drawback may not be removed.

Chakra no Ito [Chakra Threads]
Rank: D (Considered an E-rank Basic if the user has the Puppeteer Trait)
Requirements: None
Description: The user creates threads out of chakra, with a maximum of one thread per every finger. While the threads are usually visible, a skilled user of the technique may suppress the chakra used well enough to render them invisible. The threads, being composed of chakra, cannot be cut by ordinary weapons, but chakra will destroy them relatively easily. These threads are typically used by puppeteers, but can be used as a substitute for wire in any situation that may call for them.
Limitations: The threads have a range of about 50 feet; the user may only create ten wires at once. This limitation can be extended to allow threads with a range of 100 feet, but the quantity of wires may not be extended.
Weaknesses: Most offensive ninjutsu can destroy the threads fairly easily. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 2 to activate per thread, 1 to maintain per two threads (1 to activate per thread, 1 to maintain per five threads if the user has the Puppeteer Trait) (1, 1)

Inpei [Hiding]

Requirements: Shadows nearby
Description: The user steps into shadows and remains very still. Their body will become darker until they match the shade of the area, and their skin and clothes will develop patterns to better blend into the background. This technique ends if the user moves. This technique does not require handseals.
Limitations: It takes a full post to assume the appropriate disguise.
Cost: 15 to activate, 3 to maintain (14, 3)

Koe no Mizouhin [Voice Imitation]
Rank: D
Description: The user uses chakra to disguise their voice. The user may make their voice sound like anything they have previously heard, from animal noises, sounds of construction, and even the voices of other people.
Limitations: The user must have heard the sound they're duplicating. This limitation cannot be removed.
Cost: 5 Chakra to create disguised voice, 1 Chakra to maintain (4, 1)

Otonage no Jutsu [Sound Throwing Technique]
Rank: D
Description: The user can make their voice seem to come from a different location using chakra. This is different from simple ventriloquism; the user's voice is literally displaced as a result of the chakra used during the technique. The user can make any noise they produce come from a different location, so long as the sound comes from their body.
Limitations: This technique has a 50 foot range limit. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.

Shinshi Ken [Immersed Blade]

Requirements: Poison
Description: The user holds a weapon in their hand while focusing on the composition of one of their poisons. The poison in question will flow from the user's skin, coating the weapon. This technique does not require handseals.

Doku Senbon [Poison Needles]

Description: The user manipulates one of their liquid poisons to take the form of a needle. This needle hovers in the air for a few seconds, then shoots out towards a target, infecting the target if it strikes. Immediately afterward, the needle reverts back to liquid.

Dobutsu Bunshin [Animal Clone]
Rank: C
Requirements: Affiliation of some sort with a small type of animal
Description: The user is capable of creating a clone by generating imitations of animals with whom they share an affiliation of some sort, such as birds or rodents. The user creates chakra constructs that resemble these animals, which then form a clone of the user. This clone can use non-elemental jutsu and jutsu of the user's first element, provided it has enough chakra. When struck, the clone disperses into the animals that composed it, which then flee the location. The clone is capable of basic logic and thought, and can make simple decisions on its own, though usually, it is created for a single task. Animal Clones are created with 1/10 the current chakra of their creator, and their jutsu are only 1/10 as powerful as a result. Half of the unspent chakra remaining in the clone upon its dispersal is returned to the creator. The clone itself provides the needed concentration to maintain this technique. Multiple clones may be created at the same time. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Limitations: The clone cannot move greater than one kilometer from the creator; the clone's jutsu are only 1/10 as powerful as the original's would be; the clone is not very intelligent, only able to make simple choices on its own. Only the range limitation may be extended, in which case, the clone may move two kilometers from the user.
Weaknesses: A single hit will disperse the clone, so long as it would normally be enough to cause a bruise on a person. This may be extended to allow more twice as much damage before dispersal.
Cost: 1/10 the user's current chakra

Suiton: Mizudeba [Water Release: Water Knife]
Rank: C
Requirements: Poison (optional)
Description: The user manifests a small amount of water between their fingers and forms it into a small, thin blade, no longer than three inches, and no wider than 1 inch. The knife may be thrown as a normal knife its size or wielded in melee combat (though, given its size, this is unlikely). If thrown, the knife loses its form 5 seconds or 1 post (whichever is shorter) after leaving the user's grasp and reverts back to a small amount of water. This knife can be used in conjunction with any of the user's poisons by adding the cost of the poison to the jutsu's cost on creation.
Cost: 10+Poison Cost (Poison is optional) (9)

Yousu no Juu [Aspect of the Beast]

Requirements: Seishin Goei
Description: After summoning a creature, the user performs a series of handseals. When the handseals complete, the beast assumes a spirit-like state and merges with the user's body. While fused in this way, the user gains the sensory abilities of the summoning in question, as well as any special abilities. If the special ability requires a particular body part, a spiritual mimicry of that body part will form on the user's body. The user's applicable sensory organs will also change to resemble the fused creature.
Limitations: If the special ability is restricted (such as flight), this technique can only give that ability if the summoning's application already satisfies any OOC requirements, such as approvals or rank. This cannot be removed.
Weaknesses: The user suffers any penalty associated with having the senses of the chosen fused summoning.

Description: Upon introduction into the target's bloodstream, either by contact with an open wound or through inhalation, this poison triggers an intense rage, causing said target to violently attack any living thing in the vicinity, whether that thing is friend or foe. This rage is indiscriminate, and the victim will shift their attention to the nearest target if the old one gets away from them.
Properties: Berserker cannot be frozen at reasonable temperatures, but vaporizes quickly and easily upon introduction to high temperatures. The poison is a pale pink color and is mostly translucent in its liquid state and becomes a very pale, almost indiscernible pink vapor when evaporated. Berserker is carried in liquid state, and is intended to be used as such, but it is possible to wield it in a gaseous state instead through other methods.
