Clan

A Clan is a large group of people living together who share a common ancestry. In the World of Ninja, clans usually are noted for their bloodlines or clan jutsu, which sets them apart from other ninja and are typically secret from others, if not impossible to replicate. Clans are the building block of villages-each village was formed when a number of previously warring clans joined together in alliance to create a village.

You are allowed to create a clan for your character, or to join an existing clan. If the existing clan in question was created by another user, you must obtain that user's permission before joining-however, if the clan is one from the series, such as the Uchiha, or if the original creator is long gone, you can join whenever you like.

Clans typically possess unique abilities, either in the form of Bloodlines or Clan Jutsu. To create either, you MUST belong to the appropriate Clan. You may not create a bloodline for a clan from the manga, nor will we allow super secret branches of existing canon bloodlines.

You, as a creator, can have stipulations for joining the clan-a certain eye color might be the only color a clan ever has, or perhaps the clan member needs a certain characteristic to be able to use the bloodline-this is well within your ability to define. However, you may not outright bar entry to your clan-it's not just a repository for your ideas, you need other people to be capable of joining in order to say you have a clan.

Clan jutsu require no training, and can be simply added to your character as soon as they are eligible to receive that technique as if they were a Global Jutsu. If a jutsu is an exception to this rule, it will be noted in the application.

Organization

An Organization is similar to a clan in that it is a grouping of like-minded individuals, typically with similar skills or at least mindsets, working together towards a common goal. Organizations differ, however, in that its members are not actually related to one another. For this reason, Organizations may have Organization jutsu, which follow the same rules as Clan jutsu, but may not possess Bloodlines. This isn't to say individual members cannot have bloodlines of their own, or wouldn't be related to other members-but, as a rule, organizations may not possess bloodlines of their own.

As with Clans, you are allowed to create your own Organization, but be mindful of doing so-if the organization isn't necessary to your story, if you don't think you'll interact with the other members much, if at all, then please, refrain from making the Organization. Also be aware that, while you may have stipulations for entry, as with Clans, an Organization is less likely to have biological requirements.

You may create Organizations that mimic those from the manga, such as the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist or Akatsuki-but you cannot outright create these. They would not be found here, as this is not explicitly the same world as the original storyline.

When submitting Organization Jutsu, at least one member of the organization must currently be capable of using said jutsu. Organization jutsu require no training, and can be simply added to your character as soon as they are eligible to receive that technique.
