Kinjutsu


Kinjutsu are techniques that have been declared Forbidden in the game world; this may be because they endanger the user needlessly, cause bodily harm to the user, are morally objectionable in some way, or cause a massive amount of collateral damage. There is no limit on how many Kinjutsu a character may have; however, note that using a Kinjutsu in a way that can be reported back to your higher ups will result in punishment, from reduced pay from your next mission up to getting expelled from the village-even execution, if your crime was heinous enough.

Obviously, Missing Ninja and the Kage, as well as anyone given permission by the Kage, do not have to concern themselves with this restriction. Personal Kinjutsu that you create yourself are not necessarily held to this standard unless an official becomes aware of it and declares the technique Kinjutsu (though, for simplicity's sake, the application will still state it is Kinjutsu when created). Additionally, a jutsu is automatically considered a Kinjutsu if it is derived from a Kinjutsu, but you will not be punished for its use unless it also has a factor that would normally qualify it for Kinjutsu. A technique may be both Kinjutsu and Restricted, in which case, it will appear on both lists.

To reiterate: Kinjutsu are an IC Restriction; they are not restricted in any way in regards to OOC

Chidorigatana [One Thousand Birds Sword]

Description: The user focuses Chidori through their sword, enhancing the cutting power of the weapon significantly. Additionally, wounds made by this technique force muscles in the affected area to contract, making further movement difficult and painful.
Cost: 70 to form; 20 to maintain

Zairyou Konren [Material Kneading]
Rank: B
Requirements: None
Description: The user has permanently altered their body, creating strange mouths on their hands, with one massive one on their chest. Using this technique, the user can consume a material with any of their mouths, to include their natural mouth, and impart chakra into that material. This allows the user to impart that material with one of their other jutsu, providing the user with a tremendous amount of versatility in the way they may carry out their techniques. This process also shapes the material, allowing the user to form constructs such as animals or tools. When shaped as an animal, the construct will move accordingly, and is even capable of flight.
Limitations:
-The material kneaded takes on the elemental properties of the closest element to that material, even if the user does not possess that element; for instance, kneaded clay acts as a Doton jutsu, while kneaded wood acts as a Mokuton jutsu, and so on and so forth. This limitation cannot be removed.
Cost: This technique does not have a cost on its own, rather, other jutsu require this one to use.

Chidori [One Thousand Birds]
Rank: A
Requirements: Raiton [Restricted Kinjutsu]
Description: After completing a series of four handseals, the user gathers Raiton chakra to their hand. This causes their hand to be engulfed in a very bright gathering of energy, which creates a sound reminiscent of a flock of birds chirping, hence the technique's name. This technique is then thrust into a target, and is capable of piercing almost any object. If the user moves while performing this technique, their speed is enhanced by 40 points, though this technique may be performed without movement.
Limitations:
-Chidori is very bright and very loud, making it quite noticeable. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-The speed boost makes the user incapable of changing direction, and gives the user tunnel vision, reducing the user's Perception as pertains to their vision by 30 points. If this would reduce one's perception below 1, this effect leaves the user's visual Perception at 1 instead. This factor makes it very difficult to respond to any counterattacks, which ultimately is what makes this technique forbidden. Doujutsu that allow the user to track high speed movement allow the user to naturally avert this.

Chidori Nagashi [One Thousand Birds Current]

Description: After forming Chidori, the user disperses the technique in every direction, allowing them to strike others in the area. When the technique strikes a target, however, instead of piercing them, the electrical current forces that individual's muscles to contract, which makes the individual's body go stiff, while also causing considerable pain. Movement is still possible after being hit with this technique, but is very difficult and painful for a few minutes after being struck.
Limitations:
-This technique has a maximum range of 10 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 20 feet.

Chidori Senbon [One Thousand Birds Needles]

Description: The user launches Chidori as a wave of needles instead of as a jab. Dozens of needles are created with this technique, each with Chidori's piercing power, though obviously, on a much smaller scale for each individual needle.

Soujasousai no Jutsu [Twin Snakes Mutual Death Technique]

Requirements: Contract with a Snake Summoning
Description: The user grabs the target's hand and performs a seal, forcing the target's hand to make the seal as well. From within both individual's clothing, a snake will emerge, biting the respective arms of the person opposite the one the snakes emerged from. The toxin the snakes inject is fatal, and will kill both the user and the target within two posts. The bites happen simultaneously; it is possible to call off the attack as long as the bites have not occurred yet.
Drawbacks:
-The technique is entirely suicidal. This drawback cannot be removed.
Cost: 100 Chakra

Shouten no Jutsu [Shapeshifting Technique]

Requirements: Human Sacrifice; Willing chakra donor; Method of absorbing or transferring chakra
Description: The user performs this technique by transferring a large portion of a willing target's chakra into a living human sacrifice. At least 40% of the target's chakra is required. Once the chakra is transferred, the sacrifice's body is forcefully changed into that of the donor, making him or her an exact copy of the chakra donor. The copy may then be mentally controlled by the donor to fight with relative safety at a distance. All jutsu, Advanced Abilities, and Traits may be used by the copy, but if it uses up all of the donor's chakra, the technique ends. When the copy is defeated, it reverts back to the form of the sacrifice, and all chakra used is wasted. The user of this technique may also be the donor.
Limitations: The power of the copy is determined by how much chakra it was given; if it has 40% of the original's total chakra, for instance, it has 40% of the attributes of the original. A copy may regain more chakra through appropriate methods, but its power will always be determined by its original chakra level. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks: The technique uses the sacrifice's chakra to maintain itself; when the technique ends, it drains whatever remains of the sacrifice's chakra, thereby killing the sacrifice. This drawback cannot be removed.
Cost: No cost to the user; the donor determines how much chakra is given up.

Chidori Eisou [One Thousand Birds Sharp Spear]

Description: The user extends Chidori away from their body in a straight line, while simultaneously enhancing Chidori's cutting power; this allows the user to cut through almost any defense at range. After piercing a target, the user can use additional chakra to cause shorter branches of the Chidori Eisou to split off from the main blade while inside a body, thereby increasing the number of potential wounds.
Limitations:
-This technique has a range of 20 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 40 feet.
Cost: 120 to form; 35 to maintain; 30 for each additional branch created (branches cannot be maintained, and retract after a single post)

Doton Soseijutsu: Shishi Dojou [Earth Release Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil]

Requirements: Doton ; Buried corpses
Description: The user focuses chakra into the ground around them, taking control of the dirt that has seeped into the bodies in order to control any corpses found within. Once done, the user may mentally control the corpses in the area. While the corpses revived in this manner do not have access to their jutsu or personalities, the bodies are about half as powerful as they were in life, and the user is not limited in the number he or she may resurrect at once.
Limitations:
-The bodies have 50% of the stats they had in life. This limitation cannot be removed.
-The resurrection effect has a 50 foot range; the corpses have a range of one mile-further than this, and they drop. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 100 feet and 2 miles, respectively.
Weaknesses:
-The bodies have decayed; as such, they are not durable, and are considered to have only 5 Endurance, regardless of what they had in life. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 150 Chakra to resurrect; 40 Chakra per post

Fushi Tensei [Living Corpse Reincarnation]

Requirements: Method of swallowing intended target ; 1 AA Point
Description: This technique is utilized to extend the user's natural lifespan by stealing the bodies of other individuals. To perform this technique, the user must first swallow the intended living target whole. Once this has been done, the user and the victim will have their consciousnesses transferred to a mental plane in which both souls are slowly encased in a strange, flesh-like material. The pair will then engage in a mental contest of sorts to determine who has the higher Willpower. Whomever has the higher Willpower two posts later wins the contest; in either case, the user's old body rapidly decays and falls away, leaving the target's body behind. Control of the body goes to whomever won the contest, with the other soul trapped within the mind of the victor. The victor, in addition to maintaining control of the body, gains any extra Ninja Points the loser had before the contest of wills. He may use these Ninja Points on Attributes, Skills, or any Jutsu, Trait, or Advanced Ability that the loser had before the contest.
Limitations:
-Unless blessed with an abnormally powerful life force, bodies that are taken in this way rapidly deteriorate, forcing the user to switch every 5 years (5 months, IRL). If the body has a particularly powerful life force, such as that granted by Body of the Sage, the body can last for 10 IC years (10 months, IRL). This limitation cannot be removed. If the winner of the contest of wills was the intended target, no later switch is required.
-Transfers may be done earlier than 5 years, but no earlier than 3 (5 months and 3 months IRL, respectively) This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses:
-Failure to defeat the opponent in a battle of wills results in near-certain death; while not truly dead, it is very unlikely for the loser to ever surface again. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 400 Chakra

Jiongu [Earth Grudge Fear]

Requirements: 2 Moderator Approvals ; 2 AA Points
Description: Using this technique, the user permanently transforms his body, replacing his muscles, bones, and most organs with hundreds of thick black threads. While this, for the most part, keeps the user's body human shaped, the user can make certain body parts bulge and shift. The user can reattach any removed limbs by sewing them back on with these threads, and can then unattach them at will, allowing the user to launch that body part and attack at range. The ability to sew limbs back on can be used on others as well, and attaches the limbs with all nerves and muscles intact. Perhaps the most insidious aspect of this technique, however, is the user's ability to assimilate stolen hearts into his or her body. Using the threads, a user can tear into an opponent's body and remove their heart, then placing it within the user's body, underneath a mask that forms on the user's back. The user then gains the primary element of that heart for free, as well as providing the user with an additional 100 Chakra per heart. Additionally, so long as the user has at least one heart remaining, he or she cannot die, either from natural causes or bodily harm.

The user can allow the hearts to separate from his main body by allowing the masks to take some of the user's black threads, typically forming a beast-like entity of some sort made entirely of the black thread and the mask. These beasts may attack with any jutsu of the user's that matches that heart's element. Should the user's own heart be destroyed, he can recall any of the beasts to avoid dying. All hearts must be destroyed to kill the user of this technique.
Limitations:
-At most, the user may only store 4 extra hearts. This limitation cannot be removed.
-No heart collection may be done behind the scenes; all heart collections must be accomplished IC. This limitation cannot be removed.
Cost: 50 Chakra for heart assimilation ; 50 Chakra for beast manifestation ; 25 Chakra per post for manipulating threads

Kirin

Requirements: Chidori ; Thunderclouds present that were not created with chakra ; Restricted Kinjutsu - Permission must be obtained separately from Chidori.
Description: With thunderclouds present in the area, the user may use a very small amount of chakra to shape the energy contained within the clouds into the form of a Kirin, a dragon-like creature with antlers and catfish-like whiskers, and guide it onto a target. This technique is the fastest Raiton technique ever created, as it uses real lightning rather than chakra-created lightning-Kirin reaches the ground in 1/1000 of a second, rendering the technique nigh undodgeable; additionally, when it does strike, Kirin devastates the surrounding landscape, and is capable of destroying a small mountain.
Limitations:
-The clouds harnessed must not have been created with chakra; this is because the attack must use true lightning. Clouds created naturally by forcibly altering the atmospheric conditions, however, can be used. This limitation cannot be removed.
-This technique clears the sky of all clouds once used and prevents more from forming for about a day in that area, making this a one-use-per-battle technique. This limitation cannot be removed.
Cost: 25

Kishou Tensei [One's Own Life Reincarnation]

Description: The user uses their own life force to power this technique. By transferring their life force into an individual, the user may save that person from death. While this is normally used to fend off an otherwise fatal wound, it can also resurrect the recently deceased. If restoring a nearly dead person to a stable state, the user merely feels incredibly exhausted. If resurrecting a target, however, the user will die in the process. In either case, to use the technique, the user must use enough chakra to equal half of the intended target's total chakra level. Others may assist if the user does not have enough, but the technique will always drain the user first, and assistants second.
Limitations:
-If resurrecting, target could not have been dead for more than one day. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 3 days.
Drawbacks:
-User faces either extreme exhaustion or death when performing technique. This drawback cannot be removed.
Cost: Half of the total chakra of the intended target.

Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei [Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation]

Requirements: 2 Moderator Approvals ; Sample of the intended target's DNA (Requires approval of 2 moderators) ; Living sacrifice ; 2 AA Points
Description: Regarded as one of the foulest jutsu to ever be created, Edo Tensei allows one to call a soul back from the afterlife and bind it to a living sacrifice, allowing it to do combat once more. By using a DNA sample of the intended target, a complicated sealing ritual, and a living sacrifice, a soul is forcibly pulled from the Pure World and sealed inside of the sacrifice. After this process, which takes two posts, is complete, debris, dust, and ash in the area envelop the host, allowing it to take on the appearance and form that the soul had in life, albeit with the whites of their eyes becoming black and the flesh appearing to be cracked.

Once the ritual is complete, the user may summon the newly created summoning as any other. When summoned, a coffin rises from the ground in front of the user. Shortly afterwards, the lid falls off, revealing the reincarnated ninja inside. The ninja will follow the user's orders afterwards.

Any ninja revived by this technique possesses all jutsu, traits and advanced abilities it had in life. Its stats and skills are 75% of what they were at the time of death. Ninja revived with this technique recover chakra at a rate of 1/5th their reincarnated total every post. Non-fatal damage dealt to these reincarnations is regenerated within one post. Reincarnated ninja do not experience fatigue, hunger, or thirst, nor are they susceptible to poison.

Reincarnated ninja can be used by the summoner to summon more Reincarnations, thereby allowing for more Reincarnations to be made than the user's chakra could handle. The summoner can end the technique at any time-doing so, however, disperses all of that individual's reincarnations on the field. The summoner may also speak through a reincarnated ninja from a distance. The summoner's death does not end this technique, though it does remove any control the summoner had over the reincarnated.
Limitations:
-Fatal damage can defeat the summoning, forcing it to disperse. This limitation cannot be removed.
-Each reincarnated ninja can only be summoned once per thread/once per day. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.
-Reincarnated ninja are controlled by an NPCer. If used in a thread in which there is no NPCer, please ask a member of staff to NPC the ninja. The only exception is during social threads. If combat begins or if the reincarnated uses any of its ninja skills, control immediately shifts to an NPCer. This limitation cannot be removed.
-The soul of the intended target must be in the Pure Land (Afterlife) for the creation ritual to succeed. This limitation cannot be removed.
-Any signature, scent, or other method of detecting the sacrifice is overwritten by the signatures of the reincarnated. Additionally, the reincarnation ritual immediately kills the sacrifice upon completion, and is quite painful to the sacrifice in the meantime. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses:
-Reincarnated ninja, while forced to obey orders, will verbally resist if they wish to do so-they may tell opposing ninja their weaknesses, or tip them off to which jutsu is coming next and how to avoid it.
-If the soul is somehow removed from the vessel, the summoning is permanently lost. This weakness cannot be removed.
-If the reincarnated also knows Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei, it is possible for them to escape the control of the summoner by performing the technique's handseals. In this event, the reincarnated no longer obeys any orders of the user, regains their full power in life, and can regenerate even from fatal damage, though this takes two posts as opposed to one. The reincarnation cannot do this if they are actively being controlled. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 1/2 the total chakra of the reincarnated.

Raikiri [Lightning Cutter]

Requirements: Chidori
Description: This is an enhanced form of Chidori, far more powerful than the original version. After a longer series of handseals than Chidori typically uses, the user gathers Raiton chakra to their hand, as before; this version is far more focused, however, manifesting as a much tighter coating of energy. With this technique, the user is capable of piercing almost any defense, and the technique pierces a human body so easily that the user's arm can completely impale a target without slowing. As with Chidori, if movement is made while this technique is active, the user's speed is enhanced; this technique enhances the user's speed further, however, by a total of 70 points.
Limitations:
-Raikiri is very bright and very loud, making it quite noticeable. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-The speed boost makes the user incapable of changing direction, and gives the user tunnel vision. This factor makes it very difficult to respond to any counterattacks, which ultimately is what makes this technique forbidden. Doujutsu that allow the user to track high speed movement allow the user to naturally avert this.

Rasenshuriken

Requirements: Rasengan ; 75 Spirituality to throw
Description: The user forms a large Rasengan and expands the chakra while spinning the technique faster than before. This causes 4 spinning blades to emerge from the center of the jutsu, though their high rotation makes them appear to be a disc. The user may then either throw the technique if they are powerful enough or slam the technique into their target. In either case, a large explosion occurs after the technique lands, causing tremendous damage to the victim, but also damaging the user's arm in a similar fashion. If thrown, the user may also remotely expand the blades to cut targets who may have dodged. This expansion reaches 25 feet from the jutsu in all directions.

Interestingly, while Rasenshuriken does not have an element, it cannot be performed in a non-elemental fashion; the user must add one of their own elements to the technique. The jutsu takes on unique effects based on the element added. Only the 5 Base Elements will be explained; all others will be determined when used.

Katon - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny blasts, capable of blasting a target apart on a cellular level.
Fuuton - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny needles that directly attack the victim's cells.
Raiton - The blades and the explosion carry with them a paralytic effect, while simultaneously burning the target while other damage is occurring.
Doton - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny rocks, turning each one into a microscopic bullet of sorts; this can obliterate a target.
Suiton - The blades and the explosion carry with them a powerful torrent of water, capable of grinding away at flesh and bone alike.
Limitations:
-The user may only throw this technique if their Spirituality is high enough. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-If thrust into a target, the user's arm that was used to deliver the technique suffers the same damage as the victim's body. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 125 Chakra ; 50 Chakra to expand blades

Shiki Fuujin [Dead Demon Consuming Seal]

Requirements: Kuchiyose
Description: The user summons the Shinigami, a demonic-looking entity with grey skin, long white hair, sharp teeth, and a tanto held in its mouth. This summoning is invisible to all but the user and those who have been captured by the seal. Upon being summoned, the Shinigami hovers behind the user, wraps prayer beads around its arm and chants, eventually forming a seal on its arm. This arm is then plunged into the back of the user, partially extracting the user's soul from his body. The user may then have the Shinigami extend its arm through the user's chest to grab a target. Should the target be grabbed by the Shinigami, its soul will then begin to be removed. If the user's current chakra is greater than the target's current chakra, both souls are extracted from their bodies and consumed by the Shinigami, resulting in immediate death for both the victim and the user, as well as preventing either soul from moving on to the afterlife. If the user's chakra does not exceed the victim's chakra, the victim's chakra is instead permanently lowered by an amount equal to the user's at the time of summoning, though the victim survives-additionally, the victim will lose the use of a percentage of their body equivalent to the amount of chakra sealed versus their normal total. This prevents the victim from moving those body parts or from focusing chakra through them, and is permanent. The Shinigami cannot be struck, even once the victim sees it.
Limitations:
-This technique has a range of 25 feet.
Drawbacks:
-Regardless of whether or not the technique succeeds in killing the target, the user inevitably dies. No technique or Advanced Ability can prevent this, and this jutsu cannot be a Favored Jutsu.
Cost: 0 Chakra, though the user dies when the technique is complete

Sun Kugutsu Souzou no Jutsu [Living Puppet Creation Technique]

Requirements: Kugutsu no Jutsu [Puppet Technique], Nuno Kugutsu [Cloth Puppetry], Souen: Hitomi Gokuu [Puppet Performance: Skillful Achievement with a Human Body], Shirohigi: Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu [White Secret Technique: Chikamatsu Collection of 10 Puppets], Akahigi: Hyakki no Souen [Red Secret Technique: Performance of 100 Puppets], Medical Knowledge Trait, Medical Knowledge Skill of 50 or higher, Puppeteer Trait, Puppet Master Trait
Description: Regarded as one of the foulest puppetry jutsu ever devised, Living Puppet Creation allows one to take a living or recently deceased body and preserve it’s life force inside of a puppet, allowing it to do combat once more. By carefully preserving the organs and chakra network of a target and augmenting their remaining physiology with the frame and components of a puppet, they are able to craft a puppet that retains the chakra capabilities and other attributes, traits and skills of the original body. This process take several hours in character and can only be done to a living subject if left uninterrupted, with the subject being unable to resist the treatment.

Once the ritual is complete, the user may manipulate the puppets as any other. However, living puppets retain enough of their minds and memories to function independently- they can move freely without the user applying chakra strings to manipulate them. However, they cannot disobey their owner and if the user applies a puppetry technique to manipulate them, the living puppet’s own actions are overridden.

Any ninja revived by this technique possesses all jutsu, traits and advanced abilities it had in life. Its stats and skills are 75% of what they were at the time of death. Ninja revived with this technique recover no chakra in threads and cannot be given additional chakra through the use of techniques or items that restore chakra. Likewise, their chakra cannot be absorbed. Because they are no longer living tissue, they also cannot regenerate or heal from injuries, and must be repaired by the user manually if they incur damage (The repairs themselves are too intricate to carry out in combat if they’re anything more than cosmetic) Because they are puppets, these ninja are not vulnerable to poison, fatigue, hunger or thirst. Living puppets can only ever be controlled by their master, even when they are not being manipulated via chakra threads.
Limitations:
- None
Weaknesses:
- Living puppets do not regenerate chakra naturally and cannot be given chakra through jutsu or items
- Living puppets do not regenerate from injuries and need manual repair for any damage sustained. They cannot be healed by medical jutsu or items.
Drawbacks: N/A
Cost: 1/2 the Revived puppet’s living chakra amount at the time it is first activated in the thread. This serves to jump start its chakra network.

Sun Kugutsu Jiko Souzou no Jutsu [Living Puppet Self Creation Technique]

Requirements: Living Puppet Creation Technique, Medical Skill of 75 or greater
Description: Having fully mastered the art of Living Puppet Creation, the user further improved the technique by fashioning a way for a living puppet to truly maintain its humanity. This is done by taking user’s actual heart and encasing it in a core designed to fit into a pre-built living puppet for this purpose. However, as this technique requires the removal of one’s own heart in order to achieve, some assistance is needed for the user to fully complete the procedure. With the puppet body complete and the core assembled, the final step is removal of the user’s heart and insertion into the core, before the core itself is inserted into the puppet body. As with the predecessor, this transfer takes several hours to complete (Though it will only ever need to be done once)

Unlike normal living puppets, the user retains their full attributes and skills in this new form. Their chakra is still capable of normal regeneration, but they are incapable of healing, instead needing manual repair for any damage incurred. Should a body become damaged beyond repair, the user can eject their core from their body into another nearby copy of their body prepared for this purpose.

Though their body is a puppet, the user cannot be manipulated through the use of chakra threads. They are also still capable of speech and thought as before, though it cannot be given to them via techniques that provide it. Likewise, their chakra cannot be absorbed. Their chakra signature and scent remain the same. Because their body is now a puppet, the user is no longer vulnerable to poison, fatigue or hunger. Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Multiple Shadow Clone Technique]

Description: The user, instead of creating just one or two shadow clones, creates hundreds. This technique shares the features of Kage Bunshin, to include sharing chakra, transferring memories and experience back to the user upon their defeat, and individual durability of the clones themselves; it is, however, considered a Kinjutsu due to the danger involved in splitting one's chakra so many ways. Any unspent chakra is returned to the user when the clone is destroyed. Unlike the original technique, clones created with this technique may be created with as little as 1 chakra while remaining stable. If the user knows any advanced form of Kage Bunshin, they may create those clones in place of the standard ones while performing this technique. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Limitations:
-Usually, jutsu use is impossible while performing this technique due to the relatively low amounts of chakra each individual clone possesses. This limitation cannot be removed, but very high levels of chakra can naturally invalidate it.
Weaknesses:
-Due to their lower level of chakra, the clones created with this technique are not as durable as those created with the normal Kage Bunshin; as such, they tend to disperse when any damage is done to them. This weakness cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-It is very likely for the user to simply collapse or fall unconscious while attempting to use this technique due to the massive chakra requirements. This drawback cannot be removed.
-As the clones disperse, the user gains their memories and experience, but also their exhaustion and mental stress-one use, even if the user regains all of his chakra, could be incredibly exhausting.
Cost: The user's total chakra is divided up among the clones they create. At least one hundred clones must be created to be considered Tajuu Kage Bunshin. Unlike the original technique, clones created with this technique may be created with as little as 1 chakra while remaining stable, though reducing your own chakra to that level could easily cause the user to fall unconscious.

Restricted Jutsu are jutsu that are restricted for OOC reasons, due to either the power of the technique or due to a belief that, were it not restricted, an abnormally high number of users might take that technique. Each character may possess only one Restricted Jutsu, though it is possible to extend this limit with shop items. Derivatives of a Restricted Jutsu you already possess do not count against the total you may own.

Chibitama Rasengan

Description: The user creates a Rasengan with less chakra, but compresses what chakra IS used into a much smaller shape. This creates a tiny Rasengan, no wider than an inch, which is then thrust into a target. While the smaller size of the Rasengan greatly reduces the force behind the technique, the smaller size allows the chakra to rotate much faster, causing a smaller, but deeper wound than base Rasengan.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]

Description: The user forms the clone handseal and creates a clone of themselves. Unlike normal Bunshin, however, this clone is corporeal, and can act on its own. The user splits his chakra evenly with any clones he creates, but also recovers some of the unspent chakra when the clone is defeated. The clones can use any jutsu or Advanced Ability the user can use, except for those that cause a great deal of harm to the body, such as the 8 Gates. Additionally, any experiences or memories the clone has that occurred after its creation are sent back to the user. This does not affect training unless otherwise indicated. Abilities that see chakra cannot differentiate between the user and his clones. The clones can withstand a few hits before dispersing. Shadow Clones also have no range limit, making these clones ideal for espionage. The clone itself provides the needed concentration to maintain this technique. Multiple clones may be created at the same time. Effects utilizing chakra can only be copied if the clone pays the cost as well. The clone may copy the appearance of using those abilities, however, if not doing so would give away the clone's identity.
Drawbacks: The user can only receive a maximum of the chakra used to create the clone -40. Unlike most drawbacks that involve numbers, if removed, the reduction is in full, meaning there is no limit on how much chakra the clone may return.
Cost: The user's chakra is split evenly among all created clones. A clone must be created with at least 50 chakra in order to remain stable. It may fall below this limit after the fact, but 50 is required for initial creation. While Chakra Reduction from Chakra Control or traits does not affect the amount of chakra a clone receives, it may reduce the amount of chakra necessary to form a clone.

Requirements: Raiton [Restricted Kinjutsu]
Description: After completing a series of four handseals, the user gathers Raiton chakra to their hand. This causes their hand to be engulfed in a very bright gathering of energy, which creates a sound reminiscent of a flock of birds chirping, hence the technique's name. This technique is then thrust into a target, and is capable of piercing a human body. If the user moves while performing this technique, their speed is enhanced by 40 points, though this technique may be performed without movement.
Limitations:
-Chidori is very bright and very loud, making it quite noticeable. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-The speed boost makes the user incapable of changing direction, and gives the user tunnel vision. This factor makes it very difficult to respond to any counterattacks, which ultimately is what makes this technique forbidden. Doujutsu that allow the user to track high speed movement allow the user to naturally avert this.

Chidori Nagashi [One Thousand Birds Current]

Description: After forming Chidori, the user disperses the technique in every direction, allowing them to strike others in the area. When the technique strikes a target, however, instead of piercing them, the electrical current forces that individual's muscles to contract, which makes the individual's body go stiff, while also causing considerable pain. Movement is still possible after being hit with this technique, but is very difficult and painful for a few minutes after being struck.
Limitations:
-This technique has a maximum range of 10 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 20 feet.

Rasengan [Spiraling Sphere]

Description: This technique does not require handseals, instead requiring a very refined control of one's chakra. The user focuses chakra to the palm of their hand and rotates the chakra in every direction at once, creating a four-inch wide sphere of rapidly spinning chakra. On contact, the Rasengan grinds into its target, propels them along the Rasengan's trajectory, and at some point bursts, causing severe damage at the point of contact. While this technique can be maintained, the rotation of the chakra creates energy for the technique, thereby eliminating the need to use additional chakra to maintain Rasengan.

Oudama Rasengan [Big Ball Spiraling Sphere]

Description: The user simply creates a much larger Rasengan than usual, about a foot in width. Opponents may be launched much farther than the regular Rasengan would allow. However, the larger size also reduced the damage that the grinding effect can cause to an individual.

Description: The user extends Chidori away from their body in a straight line, while simultaneously enhancing Chidori's cutting power; this allows the user to cut through almost any defense at range. After piercing a target, the user can use additional chakra to cause shorter branches of the Chidori Eisou to split off from the main blade while inside a body, thereby increasing the number of potential wounds.
Limitations:
-This technique has a range of 20 feet. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended to 40 feet.
Cost: 120 to form; 35 to maintain; 30 for each additional branch created (branches cannot be maintained, and retract after a single post)

Chou Oudama Rasengan [Ultra-Big Ball Spiraling Sphere]

Description: In an instant, the user creates a Rasengan of gigantic proportions, larger than their own body. When it impacts, there is a large shock wave unleashed that can send nearby shinobi flying, even if they weren't struck by the technique. The force this technique generates is sufficient to destroy most, if not all defenses. On a direct impact, this technique is powerful enough to cause grievous harm to even an Akuma.

Fushi Tensei [Living Corpse Reincarnation]

Requirements: Method of swallowing intended target ; 1 AA Point
Description: This technique is utilized to extend the user's natural lifespan by stealing the bodies of other individuals. To perform this technique, the user must first swallow the intended living target whole. Once this has been done, the user and the victim will have their consciousnesses transferred to a mental plane in which both souls are slowly encased in a strange, flesh-like material. The pair will then engage in a mental contest of sorts to determine who has the higher Willpower. Whomever has the higher Willpower two posts later wins the contest; in either case, the user's old body rapidly decays and falls away, leaving the target's body behind. Control of the body goes to whomever won the contest, with the other soul trapped within the mind of the victor. The victor, in addition to maintaining control of the body, gains any extra Ninja Points the loser had before the contest of wills. He may use these Ninja Points on Attributes, Skills, or any Jutsu, Trait, or Advanced Ability that the loser had before the contest.
Limitations:
-Unless blessed with an abnormally powerful life force, bodies that are taken in this way rapidly deteriorate, forcing the user to switch every 5 years (5 months, IRL). If the body has a particularly powerful life force, such as that granted by Body of the Sage, the body can last for 10 IC years (10 months, IRL). This limitation cannot be removed. If the winner of the contest of wills was the intended target, no later switch is required.
-Transfers may be done earlier than 5 years, but no earlier than 3 (5 months and 3 months IRL, respectively) This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses:
-Failure to defeat the opponent in a battle of wills results in near-certain death; while not truly dead, it is very unlikely for the loser to ever surface again. This weakness cannot be removed.

Gudoudama [Truth Seeking Ball]

Requirements: Katon [Fire Release], Suiton [Water Release], Doton [Earth Release], Raiton [Lightning Release], Fuuton [Wind Release], Inmyouton [Yin-Yang Release], and Natural Energy in some fashion ; 2 AA Points
Description: Gudoudama are, perhaps, the most powerful manifestations of a jutsu that can possibly exist. The Gudoudama manifest as black fist sized orbs floating behind the user in a circle, if multiples are manifested at once. The Gudoudama are composed of every basic element, as well as Yin and Yang-and as such, they are incredibly powerful manifestations of chakra, unmatched by any other technique. When in use, Gudoudama may be controlled mentally by the user to fly through the air, and can take on any simple shape the user desires. Contact with these spheres instantly erodes at matter and chakra alike, and is capable of disentegrating anything it contacts immediately. This chakra destroying ability also prevents the maintained effects of jutsu from occurring at the location of the contact. The user may negate this effect if they wish, allowing others to touch the manifestations without causing harm to themselves.
Limitations:
- The spheres cannot travel greater than 70 meters from their creator; if this happens, the spheres lose their matter negation ability and the creator loses control of them, causing the spheres to remain stationary.
- After manifesting the spheres, the user cannot repair them or regain them if lost until the jutsu is reactivated.
- This jutsu may NOT be favored.
Weaknesses:
- Contact with Natural Energy, regardless of the power, destroys these spheres as easily as the spheres typically destroy other forms of matter.
Cost: 100 per sphere to create; 100 to alter shape; 50 per sphere to move

Hiraishin no Jutsu [Flying Thunder God Technique]

Description: The user places a unique marking formula on any object their hand comes into contact with. After placing the seal, the user can teleport to the seal at any time. No aspect of this technique requires handseals. Multiple seals may be placed at once, and while the mark may fade, the seal itself never does, allowing the user to teleport to that seal forever. The user may also transport others with him or her, so long as those other people are touching the user or his chakra.
Seal Description: Unique to the user, but typically 4 inches long, 1 inch wide
Cost: 50 to place seal; 30 to teleport (cost of teleportation applies to every person being teleported)

Jiongu [Earth Grudge Fear]

Requirements: 2 Moderator Approvals ; 2 AA Points
Description: Using this technique, the user permanently transforms his body, replacing his muscles, bones, and most organs with hundreds of thick black threads. While this, for the most part, keeps the user's body human shaped, the user can make certain body parts bulge and shift. The user can reattach any removed limbs by sewing them back on with these threads, and can then detach them at will, allowing the user to launch that body part and attack at range. The ability to sew limbs back on can be used on others as well, and attaches the limbs with all nerves and muscles intact. Perhaps the most insidious aspect of this technique, however, is the user's ability to assimilate stolen hearts into his or her body. Using the threads, a user can tear into an opponent's body and remove their heart, then place it within the user's body, underneath a mask that forms on the user's back. The user then gains the primary element of that heart for free, as well as providing the user with an additional 100 Chakra per heart. Additionally, so long as the user has at least one heart remaining, he or she cannot die, either from natural causes or bodily harm.

The user can allow the hearts to separate from his main body by allowing the masks to take some of the user's black threads, typically forming a beast-like entity of some sort made entirely of the black thread and the mask. These beasts may attack with any jutsu of the user's that matches that heart's element. Should the user's own heart be destroyed, he can recall any of the beasts to avoid dying. All hearts must be destroyed to kill the user of this technique.
Limitations:
-At most, the user may only store 4 extra hearts. This limitation cannot be removed.
-No heart collection may be done behind the scenes; all heart collections must be accomplished IC. This limitation cannot be removed.
Cost: 50 Chakra for heart assimilation ; 50 Chakra for beast manifestation ; 25 Chakra per post for manipulating threads

Kirin

Requirements: Chidori ; Thunderclouds present that were not created with chakra ; Restricted Kinjutsu - Permission must be obtained separately from Chidori.
Description: With thunderclouds present in the area, the user may use a very small amount of chakra to shape the energy contained within the clouds into the form of a Kirin, a dragon-like creature with antlers and catfish-like whiskers, and guide it onto a target. This technique is the fastest Raiton technique ever created, as it uses real lightning rather than chakra-created lightning-Kirin reaches the ground in 1/1000 of a second, rendering the technique nigh undodgeable; additionally, when it does strike, Kirin devastates the surrounding landscape, and is capable of destroying a small mountain.
Limitations:
-The clouds harnessed must not have been created with chakra; this is because the attack must use true lightning. Clouds created naturally by forcibly altering the atmospheric conditions, however, can be used. This limitation cannot be removed.
-This technique clears the sky of all clouds once used and prevents more from forming for about a day in that area, making this a one-use-per-battle technique. This limitation cannot be removed.

Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei [Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation]

Requirements: 2 Moderator Approvals ; Sample of the intended target's DNA (Requires approval of 2 moderators) ; Living sacrifice ; 2 AA Points
Description: Regarded as one of the foulest jutsu to ever be created, Edo Tensei allows one to call a soul back from the afterlife and bind it to a living sacrifice, allowing it to do combat once more. By using a DNA sample of the intended target, a complicated sealing ritual, and a living sacrifice, a soul is forcibly pulled from the Pure World and sealed inside of the sacrifice. After this process, which takes two posts, is complete, debris, dust, and ash in the area envelop the host, allowing it to take on the appearance and form that the soul had in life, albeit with the whites of their eyes becoming black and the flesh appearing to be cracked.

Once the ritual is complete, the user may summon the newly created summoning as any other. When summoned, a coffin rises from the ground in front of the user. Shortly afterwards, the lid falls off, revealing the reincarnated ninja inside. The ninja will follow the user's orders afterwards.

Any ninja revived by this technique possesses all jutsu, traits and advanced abilities it had in life. Its stats and skills are 75% of what they were at the time of death. Ninja revived with this technique recover chakra at a rate of 1/5th their reincarnated total every post. Non-fatal damage dealt to these reincarnations is regenerated within one post. Reincarnated ninja do not experience fatigue, hunger, or thirst, nor are they susceptible to poison.

Reincarnated ninja can be used by the summoner to summon more Reincarnations, thereby allowing for more Reincarnations to be made than the user's chakra could handle. The summoner can end the technique at any time-doing so, however, disperses all of that individual's reincarnations on the field. The summoner may also speak through a reincarnated ninja from a distance. The summoner's death does not end this technique, though it does remove any control the summoner had over the reincarnated.
Limitations:
-Fatal damage can defeat the summoning, forcing it to disperse. This limitation cannot be removed.
-Each reincarnated ninja can only be summoned once per thread/once per day. This limitation cannot be removed, only extended.
-Reincarnated ninja are controlled by an NPCer. If used in a thread in which there is no NPCer, please ask a member of staff to NPC the ninja. The only exception is during social threads. If combat begins or if the reincarnated uses any of its ninja skills, control immediately shifts to an NPCer. This limitation cannot be removed.
-The soul of the intended target must be in the Pure Land (Afterlife) for the creation ritual to succeed. This limitation cannot be removed.
-Any signature, scent, or other method of detecting the sacrifice is overwritten by the signatures of the reincarnated. Additionally, the reincarnation ritual immediately kills the sacrifice upon completion, and is quite painful to the sacrifice in the meantime. This limitation cannot be removed.
Weaknesses:
-Reincarnated ninja, while forced to obey orders, will verbally resist if they wish to do so-they may tell opposing ninja their weaknesses, or tip them off to which jutsu is coming next and how to avoid it.
-If the soul is somehow removed from the vessel, the summoning is permanently lost. This weakness cannot be removed.
-If the reincarnated also knows Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei, it is possible for them to escape the control of the summoner by performing the technique's handseals. In this event, the reincarnated no longer obeys any orders of the user, regains their full power in life, and can regenerate even from fatal damage, though this takes two posts as opposed to one. This weakness cannot be removed.
Cost: 1/2 the total chakra of the reincarnated.

Raikiri [Lightning Cutter]

Description: This is an enhanced form of Chidori, far more powerful than the original version. After a longer series of handseals than Chidori typically uses, the user gathers Raiton chakra to their hand, as before; this version is far more focused, however, manifesting as a much tighter coating of energy. With this technique, the user is capable of piercing almost any defense, and the technique pierces a human body so easily that the user's arm can completely impale a target. As with Chidori, if movement is made while this technique is active, the user's speed is enhanced; this technique enhances the user's speed further, however, by 35 points.
Limitations:
-Raikiri is very bright and very loud, making it quite noticeable. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:

Rasenshuriken

Description: The user forms a large Rasengan and expands the chakra while spinning the technique faster than before. This causes 4 spinning blades to emerge from the center of the jutsu, though their high rotation makes them appear to be a disc. The user may then either throw the technique if they are powerful enough or slam the technique into their target. In either case, a large explosion occurs after the technique lands, causing tremendous damage to the victim, but also damaging the user's arm in a similar fashion. If thrown, the user may also remotely expand the blades to cut targets who may have dodged. This expansion reaches 25 feet from the jutsu in all directions.

Interestingly, while Rasenshuriken does not have an element, it cannot be performed in a non-elemental fashion; the user must add one of their own elements to the technique. The jutsu takes on unique effects based on the element added. Only the 5 Base Elements will be explained; all others will be determined when used.

Katon - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny blasts, capable of blasting a target apart on a cellular level.
Fuuton - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny needles that directly attack the victim's cells.
Raiton - The blades and the explosion carry with them a paralytic effect, while simultaneously burning the target while other damage is occurring.
Doton - The blades and the explosion carry with them millions of tiny rocks, turning each one into a microscopic bullet of sorts; this can obliterate a target.
Suiton - The blades and the explosion carry with them a powerful torrent of water, capable of grinding away at flesh and bone alike.
Limitations:
-The user may only throw this technique if their Spirituality is high enough. This limitation cannot be removed.
Drawbacks:
-If thrust into a target, the user's arm that was used to deliver the technique suffers the same damage as the victim's body. This weakness cannot be removed.

Wakusei Rasengan [Planetary Rasengan]

Description: The user creates a single large Rasengan with three smaller Rasengan orbiting it. Once formed the user will attempt to press the attack into a target, as with base Rasengan. If the user successfully makes contact, the varied rotations of the separate Rasengan will create a massive spiraling vortex, blasting the target away with tremendous force. In addition to blasting the target potentially hundreds of meters away, this technique will typically rip the target's body apart, and as such, is almost certainly fatal.

Jutsu Shou [Technique Neutralize]

Description: After a series of handseals, the user sends a wave of invisible chakra towards either the caster of a jutsu or a target jutsu. This wave of chakra moves very fast, usually fast enough to interrupt handseals. This technique can cancel the usage of another jutsu, or negate it once it has already been fired. Once the target jutsu has taken effect, however, the damage it caused cannot be undone. Jutsu that are nullified by this technique are entirely nullified, with the chakra it took to form them going to waste. This jutsu is not affected by the rules of Chakra Nullification and has no limits to what it may nullify, though it does require the Advanced Ability.
Cost: As much chakra as the jutsu it is cancelling.

Requirements: None
Description: The most important aspect of an ANBU is stealth and the ability to assassinate - with this, silence is the key to a successful mission. This jutsu effectively creates the most essential ability for all ANBU simply by lacing the clothing of an individual with chakra. The clothing emits no noise from flapping, be it from wind or movements. This jutsu is considered a basic jutsu for ANBU, and is slotless.
Cost: 10 to activate, 2 to maintain

Meisenkou [Bright Flash]
Rank: C
Requirements: Bladed Weapon
Description: This technique requires no hand seals. The user swings or thrusts their weapon forces chakra into the blade of the weapon, creating a bright light. The light created as such is controlled, creating a rather wide beam of light, generally in the direction of the intended target. The light has a somewhat higher intensity than a flash bomb, allowing it to blind a target or illuminate a dark place.
Cost: 35 to activate, 10 to maintain

Jigyakkou no Jutsu [Time Regression Technique]

Requirements: Hunter-Nin/Black Ops/ANBU Head
Description: By a gentle touch to the back of the head, this technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis. The intended target usually must be restrained as to prevent any sort of resistance if he or she does not wish to be under the technique.

Jinsei Tate [Life Shield]

Requirements: None
Description: The user approaches their target in need of protection, envelopes them with their arms, and performs a short series of handseals. As a result, a sturdy shield of chakra is risen in front of them to protect someone from attack. This can only be used to defend others and can not be used on one's self.

Kokuchi no Jutsu [Announcement Technique]

Requirements: None
Description: This technique allows the user to project their voice using chakra. This has a wide enough radius to allow the user to project their voice far enough for an entire village to hear. This is used by the ANBU Head to announce evacuations and other important village business during emergencies and times of crisis. This ability doesn't require the use of handseals and cannot be used in combat.

Okami Yobidashi [Call the Wolves]

Requirements: ANBU tattoo, Kuchiyose Pact of any kind
Description: The ANBU are renowned hunters and are feared throughout the land. It is said that ANBU are never truly alone and travel around like a fierce wolf pack that hunts down their target relentlessly. This jutsu is the embodiment of that ideal. It appears like a normal summoning and pulls all members of an ANBU squad to the exact location of the summoner from where ever they were. This can only be used on someone that is willing -thus preventing the event of pulling someone from the toilet- and when 'dispelled' or told to go back, sends them back to where they were before this occurred.

Shitai Konzetsu [Corpse Extermination]

Description: This is the skill ANBU use to eradicate corpses, for various reasons like containing important secrets. As such, it allows the user to maintain their village's or other village's secrets even if the worst should happen and a shinobi of the village dies. This technique is considered a necessity to any good ANBU's jutsu list.

Chakura Kaori [Chakra Scent]

Requirements: Chakra Detection Advanced Ability
Description: Generally used at the scene of a crime, the user's chakra forms into a black dog. This dog is able to sniff out the various chakra scents somewhere, so long as the chakra was last used less than a day ago, separating them based on both user and element. Once a chakra scent is detected, the dog will be capable of tracking the scent so long as they don't fall at least a day behind the target. This dog is able to last for a day, and is destroyed by one hit. As it takes the dog a few minutes (one full post) to actually pick up a scent, it is useless in battle.

Heki Seishin [Mind Pierce]

Requirements: Black Ops/Hunter-Nin/ANBU Head
Description: The ANBU forms several seals and places a single finger on the forehead of the mind they wish to interrogate. This allows full access to the memories of the person as that individual remembers them. This is a long process that usually takes practice before the ANBU can do it efficiently. It takes several hours of doing nothing else to get all the information out of the person this is being used on but if a certain memory is being sought after, it may only take several moments to extract.

Monowasure [Mind Blank]

Requirements: ANBU Head ; Black Ops MAY learn this jutsu from the ANBU Head only.
Description: The user, after restraining or incapacitating the target, can place their right hand upon the forehead of the target. After writing the kanji for "Forget" on the head of the target, the ink or whatever medium is used, must dry for at least 24 hours but no longer than 72 hours IC. By doing this, they insert their chakra, and can forcibly erase all memories at once or choose to systematically destroy specific memories. This is used often to help someone forget things that they should not have seen. Combined with Obekakikae [Memory Reprogram], they can replace the memories with memories which they design.

Obekakikae [Memory Reprogram]

Requirements: ANBU Head ; Black Ops MAY learn this jutsu from the ANBU Head only.
Description: This jutsu has a very basic purpose. By placing their left hand on the user's head, the user will insert chakra and replace erased memories with whatever they see fit. These memories must be described by the user and explained to the RPers victim.
Cost: 100 per use regardless the amount of memories.
